I'm an Alaskan! I played clarinet all through high school, from Bethel. Thinking about studying music when I go to UAF in the fall.

I'm in the Granada Hills marching band, located in the sunny (and blistering burning_eyes ) state of California mrgreen . We're a 4A/5A band and go to every single football game our football team goes to, so if you're highschool ever plays against GHCHS, then look out for us 4laugh . This year, we're planning on going to BOA and some other regional comp or something in addition to our usual competitions.

Now then, is there anyone here that lives near me??

i'm a senior from benicia high school, ca (bay area)
not to be like, conceited or whatever, but we're one of those bands that walk/march by and people are like "we need to be like them" but we're not as good as we used to be, like when i was an underclassmen. actually, last year kinda sucked for some reason...

im from logan high school..im a senior so im pretty much done with the whole marching scene. our marching band didnt go to championships my freshman year so i only have 3 gold medals...but i guess its ok

to be honest..Logan students are getting too cocky about winning. we need to lose at least one so the freshman and all the conceited sophomores and juniors can get a reality check: WERE NOT THAT GREAT. we barely won championships in 06. so yea. thats my opinion as a graduating senior

are there any bands going to perform at Disney Hall this june? We (the Logan Wind Symphony) are gonna be the guest high school band for that concert festival so yea

OMG I LOVE LOGAN HS!!!!! second thing: we have that problem too, every single year. i hate it. freaking freshmen...grrr....
one more thing: i think logan is that great 3nodding *bows down before the amazing james logan high school*

Hey! I'm a Junior (soon to be Senior) attending Lathrop high in Fairbanks, Alaska.

Regionals are coming up soon and I can't decide between two peices. "Opal" or "Emerald" both by H.A Vandercook. I like them both, they're fun to play so it makes it kind of hard to choose.

can you guys and gals help me decide please?

I'm from McKay HS, Salem OR, by the way. We're not happy about being single A this year. It wasn't our choice, it was our evil-dictator-stand-in-band-director's idea, our band director [Mr. Prunk] is in Florida for Air National Guard training until July! gonk cry cry cry

And Southridge... We'll figure out some way to steal J.J. [heard he goes by Jeromy Sutton now] back! And we all noticed you have.... grrr... AMAZING individual marching technique, and I mean flawless... don't think we don't know why! 3nodding

I am a junior at Naches Valley. I am a member of the Naches Valley Ranger Marching Band. We compete in the Harvest Festival, Cavalcade of Bands, and the Everett Marching Competion. Anybody gone to any of those competitions in the last two years?
