Dancing_Elegance That was very interesting to read. I never knew what Yazuka acually do in Japan until now. Thanks for sharing the information.^^ no problem. i will post more info as i learn more from my big brother.

Might as well ask, even though this place is probably dead, too.
The pinkie-cutting thing. Is that actually historical? I'm no swordsman, but I read that the katana is traditionally held tightest with the pinkie, ring finger, ect, and that the reason that that particular finger gets cut off was because it held the katana's hilt the tightest, thereby making it harder to hold one's sword (historically speaking). And, because of this, you'd have to rely more on your buddies, right?
I can't remember where I read about the pinkie-sword grip correlation, and I'm kinda scared to ask my Japanese teacher about such things ^_^.
