[Tosh_Crimson]

"Jinchuuriki" meaning the "power of human sacrifice", are those individuals possessing tailed demons within their bodies. The demons themselves are known by the number of tails their body possesses, and each has different characteristics. Shukaku ("Ichibi") is the One-Tailed Tanuki, "Nibi" is the Two-Tailed Cat, "Sanbi" is the Three-Tailed Turtle and "Kyuubi" is the Nine-Tailed Fox. The only known named jinchuuriki are Uzumaki Naruto, Gaara of the Sand and Nii Yugito. Sanbi is the only known bijuu without a host.

The bijuu are creatures of great power and destruction, and all the ninja nations coveted that power and sought to make it their own as weapons. To that end the various bijuu were captured and the ninja nations attempted to use that power. This unimaginable power proves difficult to manage however, requiring literal sacrifices to gain control. Several jutsu variations have been used to seal a bijuu within a human. Yondaime Hokage used his Shiki Fuujin technique to capture the rampaging Kyuubi and seal it within Naruto. The jutsu had a high price, resulting in the death of the jutsu's user, Yondaime Hokage. The Ichibi Shukaku was sealed into the unborn body of Gaara, with the sacrifice taking the form of his mother, who died as a result of his birth.

Shukaku has previously been imbued into two Sand ninja. When their time as possessor came to an end, Shukaku was removed from their bodies at the cost of their own lives. Such a result has been the only shown way to remove the bijuu from a Jinchuuriki. It requires a Fuuin (Sealing) Jutsu capable of resonating at the same power frequency as that between the bijuu and their human host over a period of time. Akatsuki used one such method which took three days to accomplish. This GenryuuKyuu Fuujin (Mystical Dragon Nine Exhaustion) was used to remove three bijuu, resulting in the death of two unnamed Jinchuuriki and Gaara.

The hope of Jinchuuriki creation is for the human and the tailed beast to resonate together, thereby granting the human some measure of their immense power. Each beast appears to interact with their host in unique ways, and grant their host power in different amounts. The life of a jinchuuriki has been seen to be a difficult one. Many see the jinchuuriki as the demon itself, and fear and shun them. This causes many to become dejected outcasts who become angry with the world. Gaara became crazy and felt alone because of his demon. Naruto also grew angry with the world and turned to pranks to get everyone to recognize him. Two other jinchuuriki also grew distant from the world, with their villages not exerting any effort to save them when Akatsuki came to capture them.

This guide will examine the mythology and history of the demons in the real world and in-universe, biographical information on the beasts and their human hosts and how the beasts affect their hosts.

Tale in the Legend of the Tailed Beasts： Shukaku is a bijuu in the form of Raccon Dog (Tanuki of the Japanese mythology). Before, he was a priest that lived in the Desert of Nara. Because of the dark power released by Yamata no Orochi, and under the heavy assault of wind and sand, he transformed into a racoon dog (His actual form). He has a playful and extravagant personality, resembling the Tanuki nature. Has a pretty active sexual life. Shukaku lives in the souls of people killed by the wind and sand (This actually resembles the case of Gaara’s mother). The violet (blue in the anime) tatoos represent his title of God of Wind.


Ability:this Bijuu gives its Jinchuuriki a lot of sand that never leaves them the sand reacts on its own without the Jinchuuriki's will to protect him/her this takes no chakera but to make it attack or control sand other than the demon sand takes the Jinchuuriki's chakra.

Daisan no Me is a Ninjutsu technique unique to the Sand ninja Gaara. Created out of sand, the Eye allows Gaara to view an opponent when he is either encased in his Suna no Muya or when he needs to be able to see his opponent's actions when he has no clear line of sight with his own eyes.

Sabaku Fuyuu is a Ninjutsu technique utilized by the Sand ninja Gaara. Using his ability to levitate sand, Gaara will bring together sand into cloud shape clumps. These clumps are dense enough for Gaara or another ninja to rest on. This can allow Gaara to rise above any threat from below.

Suna no Tate is a Ninjutsu technique created by the Shukaku demon imbued into Gaara. The shield that protects Gaara does so under its own will. Since the time Gaara was a baby, the sand incarnation Shukaku has protected Gaara using this shield of sand. When needed, Gaara can also use his own chakra to control the sand to act as a barrier. Because the protection is reliant upon how quickly the Shukaku demon can respond, it is possible a fast enough ninja can bypass the sand and strike Gaara. If the shield fails, Gaara uses his Suna no Yoroi to act as secondary protection from attack.

Suna Bunshin is a Ninjutsu technique utilized by the Sand ninja Gaara. The clone functions like a normal Bunshin, except it is made out of sand. The clone itself can be formed out of the Suna no Tate that protects Gaara. When a ninja goes to attack the Bunshin, the malleability of the sand allows the blow to sink into the sand, which can then wrap itself around the limb to constrain the attacker.

This unnamed sand submersion jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilized by the Sand ninja Gaara. Using his ability to manipulate sand, Gaara will loosen the ground below his target and cause them to sink deep within the earth. By being imprisoned at this depth, the pressure will completely limit their ability to move.

Suna no Yoroi is a Ninjutsu technique utilized by the Sand ninja Gaara. If Gaara's Suna no Tate fails, Gaara uses an almost invisible thin layer of sand to cover his body. For the sand to cover Gaara's body, he has to use his body's chakra. When covered by the sand Gaara becomes heavier and it is more difficult for his body to maneuver. Though the sand does provide some protection, sufficient strikes will break the armor to expose Gaara's natural body.

Sabaku Kyuu is a Ninjutsu technique utilized by the Sand ninja Gaara. Gaara will cause sand to rise from the ground and wrap around the legs of his target, making them restrained in place. The sand will then rise up to full encase the target. This technique alone can crush the bones of his opponent but the technique is usually used to prepare the victim for the Sabaku Sousou technique.

Sabaku Sousou is a Ninjutsu technique utilized by the Sand ninja Gaara. Gaara will cause sand to rise from the ground and encase his target using his Sabaku Kyuu technique, making them captured in place. Gaara will then do this jutsu to constrict and crush his target killing them. The blood of the victim will then mix with the sand which returns to Gaara's gourd. The blood then gives more power to the Shukaku demon imbued in Gaara.

Suna no Muya is a Ninjutsu technique utilized by the Sand ninja Gaara. It serves as one of Gaara's absolute defenses. After forming the needed hand seals, a sphere of sand will surround his body. This sand cocoon is made as a defensive measure and is also made to allow Gaara to enter into his Shukaku state. Where his body becomes encased in Sand to make him resemble a smaller form of the Shukaku demon. While in the cocoon Gaara will use the Daisan no Me (Third Eye) to view his opponent and the surrounding battlefield.

Sabaku Rou is a large scale version of Sabaku Kyuu. With this technique, Gaara will cause a large sphere of sand to encircle and trap his target.

With the development of Gaara's powers he has gained further control over the nearby environment. By crushing rocks and pebbles in the ground with his sand, he can create more useable sand. After focusing his power, a large tidal wave size amount sand will rise from the ground to cover his target and the surrounding area. This technique serves to set up his Sabaku Taisou technique.

With the development of Gaara's powers he has gained further control over the nearby environment. By crushing rocks and pebbles in the ground he can create more useable sand. After focusing his power he uses his Ryuusa Bakuryuu technique to cover the surrounding environment in sand. He then places his hands down to the ground and causes the sand to constrict and harden, thereby crushing everything it is covering.

Shukaku no Tate is a Ninjutsu technique said to be Gaara's Saikou Zettai Bougyo (Supreme Absolute Defense). To stop an incoming attack, Gaara will mainfest a small form of the Shukaku demon out of sand. Gaara collects extremely solid minerals from underground and mixes them into his sand using pressure from his chakra. This creates a very strong defensive barrier.

Tale in the Legend of the Tailed Beasts： Nekomata is a bijuu in the form of cat, and possesses the power of death. This Bijuu lives in a place called “Forest of Death” (Not a mistranslation.) in Hokkaido, to the north. His appearance is a black cat monster (depicted with huge, black angel wings). He’s the Death God’s pet. Nekomata feeds on dead people’s spirits, and can summon these to fight for him. He uses a third eye at the top of its head to consume the spirits.


ability:Shinigami's eye, an eye that opens on the Jinchuuriki's forehead this eye can absord the souls of the dead. Also the Jinchuuriki of this Bijuu gains the power of purple spirt balls made with there chakra and the demons chakra these floating orbs are controled by the Jinchuuriki's mind. Tale in the Legend of the Tailed Beasts：Isonade is a Tortes shaped Bijuu with a sharp horn on the forehead. It lives in the deep waters on the West of Japan, fighting pirates. Every few months, Isonade will swim to the surface of the sea from the deep waters, to breath some fresh air. However, when he does this, storms erupt, oceans rage, and all ships will be swallowed by him as food. Isonade has a subordinate fish called Samehada (?) (Same name as Kisame's Sword. Depicted differently, but with same pronunciation). Samehada attaches itself to Isonade’s stomach, and absorbs its food to create huge amounts of chakra, proceeding to send it back to its body. Samehada’s power can enable Isonade to get 5 times the quantity of chakra it could originally get. Therefore, when Isonade battles, he will have unlimited chakra to receive from Samehada.

Ability:the Jinchuuriki of this Bijuu can turn his/her skin into a green scale like coating on any part of there body. these scales are packed with the Bijuu's chakra making it very hard to break. these scales can also be shot out at enemys once they shoot out from the Jinchuuriki's body they loose some strenth no longer being able to get the Bijuu's chakra but none the less they are still hard and sharp.

name:Sokou (or,Yonbi)
Jinchuuriki: Midou
location: grass village
Tale in the Legend of the Tailed Beasts： Sokou is a bijuu that looks like a reptile. It was a creature that lived near Mount Fuji. Because of the toxic gas and the volcaninc ash, he was transformed into a half-rooster, half-snake monster. The Rooster and Snake are husband and wife in Sokou’s body. Everything around it withers away or dies, because of its poison. According to the Legend, whenever he hibernates in Mount Fuji, the snoring he causes will make the volcano erupt.


Ability: This Jinchuuriki has the ability to shoot poisonous gas out of there mouth or hands(similar to Zaku's wind) these poisons and toxins are often fatal. note: no poison or acids effect this Jinchuuriki.

spit acid: the Jinchuuriki turns there saliva into an acid that can melt through anything but the Jinchuuriki themselve

Jinchuuriki: Keme
location: waterfall village
Tale in the Legend of the Tailed Beasts： Houkou is a bijuu which looks like a five-tailed dog. Each tail of this creature represents one elemental power: Wind, Water, Earth, Lightning and Fire. They can cause catastrophic damage when used. Houkou will willingly destroy the nature to obtain the power he desires from these elements. He was once badly injured when he and Nekomata challenged Kyuubi. Strangely enough, he is the god of Illusion. Houkou lives in a giant, ancient tree.

Ability:Allows the Jinchuuriki to use any elemental chakra when the tail is active. Thus allowing the Jinchuuriki to use any elemental chakra as long as the tail is acitve. note: all tails can be active at once

fire chakra release: this tail is flaming red and allows the Jinchuuriki to use fire element chakra. When active any fire elemental ninjutsu gets +40 ninjutsu.

Tale in the Legend of the Tailed Beasts： Raijuu, a bijuu in the form of weasel, has four legs and very sharp claws. Its cry sounds like thunder. It was originally the god of Thunder, but because of Yamata no Orochi’s power, it was transformed into a beast. Raijuu can release a huge amount of electricity for battle assistance.

Ability:This Jinchuuriki can manipulate and control the electrical current in there body perfectly combining it with lighting chakra.

zap tap:this creates an electrical current all around the Jinchuuriki when an enemy hits the Jinchuuriki they will be shocked

seven-tailed Bijuu- a badger like demon
name:Kaku (Shichibi)
Jinchuuriki:Ardea-Hinote
location: stone village
Tale in the Legend of the Tailed Beasts： Kaku is a bijuu in the form of badger. Its Kanji is also read as Mujina, which is the name the Japanese subspecies of badger (Meles Meles Anaguma) receives in some parts of Japan. It has seven tails, and is the smallest bijuu out of the nine; though it is the most cunning and stealthy. Kaku hunts its prey underground most of the time. It kills by crumbling/destroying the piece of land that is under its target, making it fall right into his open mouth. Above land, whenever he is around he can transform into any type of creature, but he is unable to do it if he doesn’t have clay.

Ability: This Jinchuuriki has the ability to travel through the earth freely without using a jutsu. The Jinchuuriki main power is to use clay along with its jutsu to transform there body into anything or anybody. note: clay is needed to perform this jutsu:

travel through the earth: this ability allows them to travel underground without disturbing the earth making for stealthy attacks from below

name:Yamata no Orochi (or,Hachibi)
Jinchuuriki: Nayumu

Tale in the Legend of the Tailed Beasts： Yamata no Orochi is a Snake bijuu. It has crimson red eyes, eight heads and eight tails (also depicted to having trees and vines growing around them) and has the power of the Demon world, a symbol of evil. Each head of Yamata no Orochi represents a symbol: Soul, Ghost, Evil, Devil, Monstrous, Kill, The Afterworld and Death. Its powers were originally weak, the members of the Kusanagi clan, when attacking it, acted carelessly, using the legendary sword Kusanagi no Tsurugi (Oro’s sword). Because of that, as a consequence, Yamata no Orochi takes the sword from them, absorbing the power contained inside, and becoming an incredibly powerful creature, and finally storing it in its body. With the new power, Yamata no Orochi releases an insane amount of dark energy, awakening the other Bijuu and becoming arrogant. Yamata no Orochi proceeds to defeat many of the Bijuu, but when it battles with Kyuubi, it is defeated. The cause of this is simple: Kyuubi has an unlimited amount of power, making even a hole in the Kusanagi sword. ability:the user of this Bijuu gains a huge chakra boost when they activate the Bijuu's chakra. this also makes them much stronger and faster, the chakra heals the Jinchuuriki's body much faster than normal. using the chakra at a higher extent causes the chakra to take form around the Jinchuuriki making them look like a mini version of the nine tails. they can extend this chakra to make arms to grab there enemys. each time the Jinchuuriki uses more of the nine tails power they become more beast like, gaining a new tail.
