-she stood quietly as she looked at the shrine, finding key points in the shrine for escape... or destraction. She wanted to go back to the sound village... this was boring.... and why would anyone want the hero water anyway... it may give you a large amount of chakra, but in the end it could kill you. She sighed and coughed knowing someone was there as she slowly turned about and looked up at him.- "There it a man in there....." -she pointed towards the shrine.- "When I walked along the man had just put these two down and leaped inside there... Oh... these old bones... I wish I could have moved faster..." -she told the new anbu and wondered if she would be able to defeat him as easily as the others... we shall see...- she thought as she coughed again.-

-her eyes narrowed.- "ok... so this one isn't an idiot...." -she thought as she then stood up straight.- "Finally.... My back was killing me... I figured you were all idiots..." -she growled abit as she poped her back, and then threw off her decise and stretched some.- "And that thing stinks...." -she said as she shook her head and then remebered the guy that was right there.- "Well... Then I guess I will be taking my sample and leaving now huh?" -she said as she leaped back into the shrine, and into the shadows.-

-she soon emerged the vial with the sample of hero water in her pocket, and she nodded to the man.- "Catch you later cutie." -she blew him a kiss and leaped away into the surrounding forest.- (exit)

Yasu and her pet bird, Hikata, walked to the shrine and got a sample of the water and seeds for Hikata and herself and left.

Haku appeared before the shrine with Gahou in tow, still wrapped in a whip of blood. "So rude of that kittycat and carp to interrupt our chat, now, wasn't it? Little dolls should not speak or throw their toys about when Mommy is talking." It seemed as if Haku was pouting behind her mask, even as she calmly and methodically slid senbon into key points on Gahou's body to keep him immobile.
"What exactly- do you want?" Gahou demanded, cautiously, though he was annoyed by the fact that his new paintings were left behind.
"A mommy needs a child to be a mommy, ne? Ink runs black, the rain runs red, and dries, and cracks, but does it matter so? No matter; take your medicine, Little Inkwell;" Haku murmured, not a hint of playfulness or teasing in her voice, but instead a kind of wistfulness, "Mommy does not want the ink to fall from its glass like the rain did." And Gahou was quickly asleep.
Haku placed the boy on the ground, then clenched her still-bleeding hand into a fist, walking a slow circle around then both and stepping inside, her barrier rising silently. She sighed, and turned to the gash in her hand, settling down on the ground next to the boy, and entered what might have been a trance. ((cp: 150 def: 270))

Haku came back to herself as the gash in her palm began to slow its seeping. She sighed, curled into a ball next to Gahou, and went to sleep. The barrier stayed up, and Gahou still slept.

Haku woke, and removed the senbon from her captive's body. She frowned, then reversed the sedative that she had used in his blood. After a few minutes, the Myousumi began to wake, and Haku backed away, the circle of the barrier vanishing as she did so, until they were a few paces apart.
Awake...
Not bound...
Not immobile.
WHERE ARE WEI? Up! Up!
Stiff... UP! Look! Defend! Why...? WeI are shinobi! Ninja do not laze- and do not remain unaware, yes, yes... UP! And Gahou's eyes snapped open as he leapt to his feet, both sides coming automatically to rest in a versatile position, fingers close enough to belt that brushes and other weapons were in easy reach. He caught sight of Haku fairly quickly, though she was in a more neutral stance, watching the Special Jounin curiously. She did not remove the weapons? Is she really that confident? Or just too crazy..? No. She had a purpose.. what was it?"A mommy needs a child to be a mommy, ne? Ink runs black, the rain runs red, and dries, and cracks, but does it matter so?" is what she said... ...She wants a child? But what about the second part? The 'Ink runs black, rain runs red'? Wait- she seems to use blood as a meduim, and she's from Ame, or was from Ame in any case... She wants to adopt?! Gahou's unfocused eyes must have hinted at widening slightly, because Haku chuckled.
"No harm from the Fallen Rain, Little Inkwell."
Gahou's posture and non-expression stated that neither of the two of him were convinced, clearly, and Haku laughed again. Then, she grew solemn and lifted a hand to her mask, hesitantly removing it and placing it next to her on the ground by one of her knees. She blinked, like a small child who had just woken from a long nap, and asked, "Will the Inkwell show the Rain the pretty pictures? Or dancing dolls?"
"What?"
"Pret-ty pic-tures. Will the Inkwell show them to the fallen rain?" The curiosity was back, and with it a touch of both exasperation and killing intent, quickly pushed away.
Gahou frowned. She appears to be making an effort to appear nonthreatening... Suppose weI could paint- if she suddenly changes, weI'll at least be able to have some defense quickly enough.
"What would you like to be painted, Akatsuki-san?"
Several days later, Haku had announced that the marathon of painting and subsequent animating was at an end, and that 'the dolls are playing the game that gives them new clothes'. They took the day off, Haku doing whatever she did in her spare time, and Gahou relaxing, taking care of his equipment, and gathering food for himself; Haku only seemed to eat dango from her seemingly-never-ending stash within some hidden pocket of her outfit and the occasional soldier pill. That evening led to talk, as the secret-organization-member asked indirect and vague questions about various Mist shinobi that she had met at some point or another, or observed. She had made it quite clear, that while she would not attack him, early on, if he tried to either escape or attack her, she would have no problem keeping him there, and in more painful ways than she had before, with 'medicine that burns, not the medicine that brings the white and dark.' He was still quite wary, and he gave as little information to her as possible. She seemed to be rather focused on Kurome, and how she was Mouko, yet without a partner. 'Kitty has no bond anymore... Kittycat is like the rain, even before it fell to the ground and the sun. The rain that fell cries for her.' She also seemed to hold more than a passing interest in Nyuuha, and in most of the others in her age group, though she had dismissed Gahou as a choice, stating 'this Inkwell will not do, not yet, at least, if the fallen rain sees things clearly... Though maybe the Inkwell will be of use to help Kittycat find a new tie?'
