Final Fantasy 7 is my personal favorite
With its super twisted plot ang storyline, it is most definitely the best one.

(V)alina Final Fantasy 7 was, and always will be my favorite Final Fantasy. Sure, the graphics resembled animated clay leggos...but still, it was not sappy (unlike cool , it was odd and more diverse and carried so much innuendo.
It was the first Final Fantasy I've ever played, and while that being said, I absolutely hated 8 and 9. 10 had beautiful graphics, but I did not find it favorable. X-2 had the awesome job classes..but..I hated most of everything else. XD It was practically eye-candy for guys.
I think I've made it clear that my favourite is Final Fantasy 7. I have FFX but, it's nothing in comparison to FF7. Even with FF7's aweful graphics, I have to laugh when I play it sometimes. I think it's the only game I've ever really cared about...

I think it's the only game I've ever really cared about...thats just a myth.. a rumor... square stated that they were NOT going to remake FF7 and that the special thing that they had done for the Ps3 opening with ff7 was just a special trailer type thing to show the graphics and was NEVER meant to actually be remade.................. i read that in a gaming magazine BUT of course they could be pulling a square type thing where they say they arent going to release something and then do it... i hope they would...

My personal fav is FFX-2, the story is sweetest~~
FFX is cool but I haven't finished it yet, so..... (i'm near the end of the entire game tho)
FFXII is also cool but again I haven't finished it yet.

Okay I'm a fan of FFX...It had amazing graphics, great storyline, Sin was badass he kinda scared me O.O and he was huge!!!, and I abosoutly loved all the characters except Tidus at first cause he was to whinny but I guess he had his reasons his old man wasn't a very nice person then he went missing and his mom died...poor guy...
I like most of the final fantasy but X was my favorite the only two i really didn't like were 7 and 12. And I think X-2 was fine but I hated how bad the girls dressed >.< and I think square could of done better but they did fine for their first sequel so I'll give them credit for that ^.^.

FFVIII was my favorite. It was the best developed for it's time and had a great storyline. None of the rest have had the best graphics possible since then either though so that's a big reason why I like it. They put more effort into it.

I think my favorite Final Fantasy would probably be FF VII, and I'm also tempted to put Tactics somewhere close behind.
I'm a complete VII fangirl, and I adored the various characters and the plot was engaging. I remember not wanting to finish the game because then it'd be over, nothing new to discover there.
Tactics... I wasn't fond of the ending, cause... really now. But I thought it was so much fun when I was playing, and some of the characters are so awesome. And I loved getting Cloud and seeing Aeris (...it was right? Seemed like her).
Two games that I'm not that fond of are VIII and X-2. VIII was pretty fun at first, but... it is mushy as hell and made me cringe. Not to mention I don't like Squall nor Rinoa. The others are okay, and I especially love Seifer and Zell. I'm just forcing myself to get through the rest of that game right now. X-2... it was kinda cute, and I do like job class systems, but... somehow I thought it'd be best if they had left that story alone. I especially hated the part where it was all just looking at those orb things.
Have yet to play XII, so... yeah.

Ravenmichiru Omega Night Crawler Final Fantasy I and II. But those are gba. I've played FFVIII also. That one was pretty good considering when it came out. And now i guess there's a new FF for PS2. Where your weapons are guns and stuff. I think it's another version of VII. ( In my opinion) Final Fanatsy I and II are a good place to start as they are remakes of the orginal first two on the NES. II is not to be confused with the II on the SNES as that is actually IV as III is actually VI. VIII ( again in my opinion) is the worst one on the Playstation and one of the worst ones I've played. The graphics are nice, but the story was a giant flop for me. That also happened in X for me. Nice graphics, interesting gameplay, but horribly cliched story. XII looks nice, but I'm afraid. Everything that has come out of the Square-Enix merger has been, well, less than crappy. (Except maybe Star Ocean) FF XI is a joke. The series is not supposed to be an MMORPG. But I guess, if they can make their money, who cares about quality any more. They can make a FF MMORPG, that's fine, but don't put it within the numbered series. Don't get me wrong btw, I love Square. I have almost all of the games they made starting with Rad Racer and Kings Knight on the NES, I'm just unhappy with the turns they've made recently. Agreed. cool Though I own VIII, IX & X, I still agree that they shouldn't put the MMORPG's w/ the numbered series. I think that it ruins the entire series. I also agree that they should not have put it as an MMORPG, cause, the entire series was based around the CONSOLE RPG genre, not the ONLINE MMORPG style. 'nuff said.

Omega Night Crawler I really enjoyed Final Fantasy X. I think it was really good in terms of the storyline and graphics. Sure FFXII is coming out in October, which is supposed to be the best and last great RPG for the PS2, but considering it hasn't come out yet, FFX is my favorite. u should try FFVII D.O.C its a background story on Vincent Valentine......its really cool...and it goes back when Sehperoh was born (pardon the spelling)

I'd say FFX a si'm a huge fan of brilliant anime graphics and it's the sheer beauty and weapons.I especially liek the liquid dragon sword.

I love Final Fantasy Tactics Unlike FFTA it has risk involved FFTA seemed like a mockery of FFT
FFT had a Great story,awesome characters and graphics,a Unique battle system and alot of tragity I loved FFT for the difficulty and unique style that was fairly different from other Final Fantasy I loved FF8 first but FFT is my all time favorite FF game I just wish you could play as Delita but i guess ill have to buy Lions war for the psp for that =.

i have only played ff10 and ff10-2. im not really a gamer but i really love the story line for ff10 but as most ppl have told me ff10-2 is really long.

I love quite a lot of the final fantasys I adore Final fantasy crystal chronicles Ring of fates, the characters were so cute and I loved the story. Final fantasy X was really good too, loved the cut scenes and music the graphics were amazing too. biggrin
