Okay, so we have these amazingly awsome Selmer Bass Clarinets for concert band, and then we have marching bass calrinets for, well, marching. We should have at least three marching bass clarinets plus the two selmers. Unfortuneately, they lost two of our marching ones so we only had one left. For marching band we needed marching ones, of coarse, so we traded my old school our two selmers for two of their marching bass clarinets.

As if that wasn't bad enough, the two marching bass clarinets they gave us were freaking broken! They both need at least $300 worth of repairs. RAWR! I am so mad.

That just plain sucks! It's almost like what my new band director did to us.

So, he switched some of us off (we are a small band) and I got to play snare (yay eat and play at the same time), so I was looking forward to playing flute (my first interment) again. Instead he switches me to trumpet, which I couldn't even play! Then, he gives us insulting rhythme sheets, 5th grade music, and manditory study hall "lessons" if we had study halls (thank god I don't). He just makes me P.O. all the way! He doesn't know how to treat a high school class. I sight read a piece of musicd we r doing for our concert while everyone else was playing it from rehearsal... and he said be proud of what you guys did... I'm like.... o yeah, be proud of sight reading a piece of music perfectly. I am just.... urg... The thing is that I used like band and he is making me hate it! I still love playing, though...

I'm sorry... I just kinda vented there... sorry...

Oh god, do I know how you feel. We got a new band director two years ago. He's an idiot. He doesn't have us practice enough and he is lazy and an a*****e. He put the new freshman on the field and he didn't even teach them how to march! He constantly yells at us and calls a division 2 band when he is the reason we got a 2, and its just hurtful. I mean, I'm a junior and this was the last year I could go to state so me and the senior class were very disappointed. I used to love band but because of him I'm starting to hate it too...but I'm not quitting band just because the director is a p***k. It suckssss....;-;
