Long time no see; posting at Iconoclast's behest. For a self portrait project in my advanced computer illustration class. Why am I a Victorian era British Lord? 'Cause they had class. I like class.

POSTING IN A TOASTY THREAD
No, for serious, the only thing about this image that throws me is how thin your face is, but I've already talked to you about that, and I agree that it does look that thin in the ref. You aren't that skinny in my mental image of you. DAMN YOU, REALITY >:[!!

When I'm stupid rich and am getting a painting of myself done up to hang over my fireplace I hope it turns out this cool.
How much would you charge to do something in this style? I need to decide how rich to get.

i am digging the textures and the glasses and the dapper collar
also, the gears and whistles and things in the background are a nice touch.

Totally loving on the Victorian stylings. Only real critique is that the right side of the collar looks a bit off, kind of flat and lacking in the solidity of the rest of the portrait.
Aside from that, kickass stuff. pirate

This is awesome cool. A pile of style without shooting bright colors into my eyes.
