Oh my... I love all sorts of Japanese and Asian foods. Thai curry has to be amazing. I'm not too big on spicy, but I do like it so I've been building up my taste buds.
As to japanese foods... I love sushi, although everyone else in my family hate's it. They only ever let me get California rolls, although I've tried tuna rolls before. I love udon noodles, they're yummy. And miso soup... Mochi is a god send, too, although they have a weird texture. Mochi icecream is yummy. ^^ Tofu is amazing too... And tempura. I too only like yakisoba under certain conditions. There is a restaurant who does it well, but most places make it icky...

Rice gyoza salmon teriyaki miso soup are my favorites 3nodding and call me crazy but I like teiyaki sauce on my steamed rice with a bit of bbq. The best place for Japanese food where I live is Sushi Umi it's amazing ;D they make this wonderful salmon teriyaki other than that it's panda express sweatdrop they're the two cheapest places. The most expensive place is Shogun but the food there is to die for! the make amazing gyoza and soft shelled crab ;D [my faves!] not to mention the rice! I went for my last bday dinner. Theres even Maki Yaki they make good udon =3 but for stuff not at a restaurant I'll eat ramen when I can get it.
