Let me tell you one.
It's about a boy and a girl, eleven years old, and twins, elven children who live deep in the forests of a hidden country...and when everything starts to change all at once, they realize how deep their country's history really goes, and how much no one seems to know but them...and when they find that their country is but a shadow of another country in another world, and that they are crucial to its survival, they begin to realize the true nature of good and evil, and exactly what it means to be caught in the middle.
Just a teaser. If you think it sounds interesting, by all means, let me know--it's being severely edited right now. But I'd be happy to ramble on a little more wink

Tak-Jak oo.. Elven twins.. do they have names? Curiosity has struck.. please deliver more. Yup. The girl is Kamile (accent on the e, no one can pronounce it properly o.O) and the boy is Everan. They've been together their entire lives--they've naturally assumed that they're twins. And wouldn't you, if you were best friends with someone who looked exactly like you, was exactly your age, and understood you more than anyone ever could? And in truth, the children of Kocha, the elven capital, are delusioned and misinformed from the beginning, though of no fault of their own. After all, no one but the legendary chosen ever knew the whole story...and the deities themselves... (heh heh, I like doing this. mrgreen )

aww, that sucks.
I'm such a n00b at writing. >.< My mian characters (with names) hardly ever die, though in the whole series some 8 million nameless and faceless people die. Armies, j00 know. eek And my first two are light and happy, and the third is unbelieveably dark...it doesn't match, and yet the people are the same...
And not to mention that I suck. sad

You dont suck! Never ever say that! Or I shall chop off your hands and force you to eat noodles with chop sticks!
Writing takes practice. I have been writing since I was 11 and I am just a year older then you. With time you learn things. Give it some time. 3nodding

Well, yes...
I sometimes read my old version of my book, pre-editing (brutal, life-changing editing) and wonder why I was so happy...and then I read parts of my other books and wonder what made me so sad...

Ah...good point.
Lately, it seems like I've been more on the sad side...
it must be because sadness creates intensity, while happiness, though good for the characters, makes a very boring book indeed. Conflict creates stories. And complication defines them.
