Does anyone know what the status of the Guilty Pleasures comic is? I haven't been able to find it anywhere & on the LKH site the order forms are not working right now. Amazon had originally said it was going to be released in Graphic Novel form on May 27th but now it has no availability date. I am really eager to get it. At the Dabel Bros. sight all I could find available was the black & white first draft and I want it in full color.

OOOOH!!!! In looking for the answer to my own question I just found a great Tshirt at Dabel Brothers about the upcoming Anita comic!!!! I ordered one!!! yeah biggrin

The individual comic release begain in June 06
The graphic novel is coming out in January 07

Someone here had the special edition of the first comic, which was sold at some convention and temporarily at the Dabel Brother's store. I'm waitin' for the colored version too, personally, which should be out soon. They keep pushing back the release date. INK AND COLOR FASTER, DABEL BROTHERS! FASTER! crying
The graphic novel won't be out for a while. The pages will probably be shrunk down, and that's a long time to wait, though, so I'mma stick with the comics.

it already ut, my brother works in a comic ook store,a dn he says they were already in, he tld me about thm, because he knew i read the books. so ya, maybe the second one is out in 2007?

So on Tuesday I will need you all to encourage ALL of the fans on the LKH boards to spread the word to every corner of the world and show their support and also tell the world how excited they are that Anita Blake will be coming out through "Marvel DBPros Comics". One website in particular the fans must bombard is www.newsarama. com encourage them to register and to post how great LKH's Anita Blake is. Now, you all know the reason why the comics had to be pushed back, we had to resolicit them again while we worked out the partnership. So this is all confidential until the Press Releases start to come out early next week So I guess the dates got pushed back, which would explain why no one has them... sweatdrop Hopefully they'll be published soon - I can't wait to see how the story translates.

I think they mean pushed back in past tense. In this release, they seem to be talking about it like it actually IS out now that the deal with Marvel has gone through. So, if the article (and Starsan's brother) are truthful... TO THE COMIC SHOPS, ARGGGGGH! pirate
This should also mean my favorite shop has it, now that DBPro is working with Marvel. w00t!!!!!!!!

I believe the first issue is out now, but I thought everyone interested in the Anita Blake comics might like to see what the cover of the first issue looks like; the released cover will be inked and colored. The second image is the alternate cover done exclusively for Jetpack comics (I believe there are only 1000 copies of the Jetpack version in existence.) I put both on here so that everyone could compare them. The third image is a color postcard that was being given out with one of them (I don't remember which). Everyone may have already seen these but I thought I would post them for all to see anyway. I bought these for Narniakat (my girlfriend) a month or so ago and have been waiting for her to post these but she's a bit busier than I am so I figured I could do it.
