I would also like to add that I got back from Israel 3 weeks ago. Whenever I tell people this, they always ask me "What was it like being in Israel during the war?". To be honest, it was very quiet. My group was in Jerusalem most of the time, and I kept hearing about the rockets, and it was so quiet. I also started Gadna (that's a five-day Israeli army course) four days after the first rockets were launched. They kept telling us to be proud while wearing the uniforms we were because soldiers wearing the same uniforms were fighting in Lebanon.
As for whether I was scared? The only scary part was that I kept hearing about cities being bombed that I had been in less than two weeks before. I even have a picture of
the Lebanon Border before the war.
Just a statistic: 3,970 Katyushas were launched before the cease-fire.
