Choa had literally jumped at the chance to accompany her father outside today, with the idea that perhaps he could take her farther away from the den than she had yet been.
Daimyn had been waiting for this for a long time -- when he could take his children out and do things with them, show them off, feel proud of them... Finally with his eldest at his side, he headed for the waterhole, figuring they both could use water.

The Pridelands brought about promising change for her, though it was undecided yet if she wanted to stay here. Tai, neither side of her could deny that this place was bringing about change within her, ever since that meeting with Red their lives had begun to change, control shifting, and now the two of them were more or less in agreement about most things.
Tai, however, could not condone what her other half and Red had done, not when she'd been fullly aware of the scent of cubs and another female on the male's pelt. Tai felt horribly embarassed and ashamed of that, and only hoped to forget all about it.
How she was to do this when she'd returned to the scene of the crime, well.......... that wasn't for sure yet.
Tai settled by the watering hole, lying on her side to sunbathe some while the weather permitted it. It was still unbearably hot compared to home, but she'd adjusted well in the last few months. Now she just needed to get used to this year ROUND.
The sound of others approaching did catch her ears, and Tai opened her scarred eye to glance in the general direction that the lion and cub came from. A familiar scent sent her jolting upright, though, BOTH eyes wide. Was that--??
"Daimyn??"
