I haven't played 4 in a while, so I can't recall the difference. Is it really worse in Tactics?

Yeah... I'm not sure if they got a different voice actor or what, but Chiepoo's voice in Tactics is more... I dunno, lower in some points, so it sounds more like nails on a chalkboard than ever.

Funnily enough, I was just playing Tactics and heard his voice. o_O I guess they did hire a new guy.
Chiepoo's voice never really agitated me at all in IV (It was kinda cute), but it's higher pitched and annoying in Tactics. Odd.
EDIT: I need to make a mental note to kill Adrienne's VA with a spork. I never, ever want to hear "Hokeeeeeiiiiii!" at a really high pitched sound ever again. (Plus, I always imagined her having a light Texan accent)

best voice belongs to Arshtat. Second to Ferid. I have mixed emotions about Georg's voice though -- he acts well, but there's something about his voice that makes me cringe whenever he tried to pull off a funny. Same with Lyon's voice since I heard her japanese voice actress and her voice sounds tough yet girly unlike US Lyon who doesn't sound quite as tough.

(Plus, I always imagined her having a light Texan accent) AAUUUUGH YES! Why did I not mention her. God, everytime she was all: "Whose wepon kneads howning?!?!" I was all: "OMGSTFU! STOP SCREAMING! I can hear you just fine!" And the "Okay!" fiasco... don't even get me started on that...

I do have to agree about Mona Marshall being in everything. She like totally ruined Kyril. I saw him as a more of a manlier voice, not a wimpy girly voice. It just drives me up the wall!!!!

To go back to the original post, I rather like Roget's accent. It gives him and Iskas more of a "Pinky and the Brain" vibe. Only it's "Isakas and Roget." This isn't to say I made up a theme song for the two of them to the tune of the Pinky and the Brain theme. No, not I.
They're Isakas and Roget, yes Iskas and Roget, one is devious, the other speaks cockney...
