Ok before you read the rest of this make sure you've read jacobs side of the story. (It was posted on www.stepheniemeyer.com)
if you haven't here's the link: http://www.stepheniemeyer.com/nm_extras_jacob.pdf
That leaves us with a few problems concerning jacob:
1. Jacob proably (well more of most definantly) won't be friends with bella any more, or at least the type that hang out together (they still might have friendly brief conversations)
2. If bella turns in to a vampire Jacob will be torn and might end up hateing her.
3.bella can't have any of the cullens turn her into a vampire because then the treaty will be broken and there will be a war.
4. jacob and bella still pretty much feel the same way about each other as before (all vampires put aside): jacob loves bella and bella thinks of jacob as a brother.
I really don't know what to make of all of this, i want bella and jacob to be friends and it hurts to see jacob hurt so much! stressed I realy want to hear what everybody else has to say about this and if anybody has some comforting resolution of what's gonna happen in the next book....

The thing that concerns me with Jacob is the fact he is apparently going to run off and warn the rest of the pack that Bella is counting on being turned. This fact will probably cause some...issues in Eclipse. What if they like...kidnap her or something, to keep her away from the Cullens to prevent any kind of war from happening.
I really don't see there being a way for Bella and Jacob to remain friends at this point...it isn't looking good unless Jacob and Edward gain a better trust in eachother. Maybe if they worked together for Bella's benefit, like against Victoria or the Volturi, perhaps they will be able to...

i'm just confused b/c i thought that the warewolfs couldn't be on thier land but jacob was there to give bella her bike and thier was a few other times. so wouldnt that meant that the treaty was already broken and the cullens could do what they want?or maybe im just confused

I don't want Edward to bite Bella anyway. Well, not yet. Because basically, that would be the ending of the books. Or atleast the beginning of the end. [Lol.] No, but I'm not ready for the books to end yet. I'm too selfish.

Couldn't they take Bella to another place and then turn her?
The whole weres against vamps thing can get kinda annoying. And I'm hoping Jacob won't end up like one of my other favorite wolves. gonk
I'm hoping since it's Stephenie, that the characters will all have a happy eneding.

Quote: 3.bella can't have any of the cullens turn her into a vampire because then the treaty will be broken and there will be a war. Did it occur to you that the treaty is already broken? I believe it's even mention in Jacob's point of veiw. He just didn't tell the others. Jake broke the treaty when he told Bella the stories. He is the one that told her about them being vampires. He may not have believed it himself, but he still exposed the Culens for what they are to a "pale face" therefore breaking the treaty. I personally think that there should be a trade off. The Cullens ignore the fact that the treaty is broken and the werewolves ignore the no-biting rule, temporarily, so that Edward can bite Bella. Anyone else think that that makes complete sense?

I'm not worrying much about Bella becoming a vampire, at least not right now.
I don't believe she'll become one any time soon~
The sooner I think it could possibly be is in Breaking Down, and who knows, there might even be a fifth book!
I know for sure that Bella wants to be friends with Jake, but it's not that easy. We'll have a lot of conflits about that in Eclipse.
Also, the idea of Jake hating Bella for her being a vampire is not fact yet. We'll have to wait and see what happens in Eclipse - he might change his perspective, depending on what kinds of conflicts the book has. I personally think that Jake couldn't possibly hate Bella, even if she becomes a vampire - he loves her far too much. He'd just hate the way she smells, the way she looks... but I don't think he'd have the guts to attack her, or anything. xp
But, of course, these are all mere predictions for books after Eclipse. 3nodding
Btw, I really like that story with Jake's point of view - very interesting 4laugh

Was there really a rule in the treaty that they couldn't even step into the other race's place? Besides, I don't think it would be too much of a matter to be considered to start a war. Jake was in his human form, and he didn't do anything wrong - he didn't attack any vampires, or anything of the sort.
The Cullens obviously won't count the pack being in their territory hunting Victoria - they're happy that Bella was being protected, and they'd rather have a stupid treaty being broken (not really broken though, in my opinion) than having Bella dead, and Edward committing suicide, for that matter. And Victoria was never part of the treaty... so the werewolves were more than free to hunt and kill her as they wanted. Same goes for Laurence.
So, there. 3nodding
The treaty hasn't been broken in any ways - yet. (I can't help but to think that in the upcoming books it will, somehow sweatdrop )
