I had this weird dream that it was raining at my school, and there were demons running around dressed in navy blue and sky blue cloaks. I couldn't walk, so I had to crawl up this alley way between a large classroom block and a demountable classroom. Anywho, in order to save yourself from possesion by the demons, you had to put red feathers on the ground, either real ones, or draw them with blood. Anyway, this demon said that my red feathers weren't good enough and posessed me, and what was weird is that I was wearing the same cloak as the demons except is was red. Later on in the dream I went up to one of my Christian friends, and demanded her soul. She said to me, " what makes you think I will give you my soul? And then I woke up.
I thought maybe this dream meant something. The colour red was featured in 3 previous dreams. They were about my ex-boyfriend, because he dyed his hair blood red. But I didn't think much about those dreams. The other one just freaked me out.
Could someone tell me what it means from a Christian perspective? I was going to consult a dream consellor or something, but I decided not to open a door up for satan.

i dont blame you for getting freaked out... i have no idea what this dream means, but God told me to post up on here, so i;m gonna try to figure this out... i swear i will figure this out, lol.
i'm quite sure the feathers refer to the story of moses, and the 10th plague. the lambs blood and all, having to smear it on the door post to save yourself from the plague. i dunno how to word this, itd be so much easier over the phone, lol.
ok, now... i hear him lol. Pray to God bout this. Thas my answer, lol. it may be an urge to step up and join the Army of God. heres the bottom line, in case your freaked out by this. demons CANNOT hurt you anymore then you let them, satan cannot hurt you unless you let him, the only power he has over you is the power you give him. the only way they can posses you is if you let them. and here it is, the best part, you are a child of Christ, so they really have no power over you at all ^^ so dont get too freaked out. perhaps we can talk bout this via pm? tha might make it easier for me... God wants me to talk to you, so ya...

There definatley seems to be a meaning behind this...the only thing I can suggest is that you do not forget this dream and pray that God will show you what he was trying to communicate throught this dream.

In the old testament, the Jewish people who were being held in bondage by the Egyptians spread blood over the lintels of their doors so that the angel of death would pass over them and only take the first born of the Egyptians. Hence the holiday called Passover. Anyway, that may be the signifigance of the blood in the dream. You dreamt it would protect you. Also, I'm not really sure if this dream is anything but the result of an overactive imagination. All dreams have a meaning behind them, but most of the time, the meaning is simply that your imagination takes over in your unconscious state. Also, many dreams are our brain's way of projecting our day to day circumstances. What we can't focus on in a state of consciousness, our brain can concentrate on when we are unconscious. I'm not a therapist, mind you, but this is just my take on the matter.

Yes thrash,the 10 plagues,I love to read the revloution and there rapture for some reason,I just dont know why...
But for your dream,if it happens again I would go though your dream,I have found out the best way to fight satan using god is to show him your not afraid of him,because being afraid of him is like just giving up all together.

since people are giving you biblical references might i also add that the bible WARNS about interpreting dreams.
the dream could mean ANYTHING. ive had demon dreams too, and plenty of them.
the color red in the dream could mean about your bf's hair, or your bf in general, it could ALSO mean an emotion your "feeling" in the dream.
it....could also mean vanilla pudding.....and not as a joke but do you see what im saying now? you have to be VERY CAREFUL with determing the meaning of dreams. and out of all the responses in here, i do have to agree with one of them, and that was the dream giving a warning to you about your bf. maybe there's something about him that your being warned about........or
the devil could be playing with your head. he IS the Father of Lies remember?
is the dream a warning? i dont know, do you? is it directed at your bf only? I dont know. maybe? is it a sign? does it have meaning? its too uncertain and regardless of how you feel, your just abotu the only person that can really figure this out.
maybe.....no.....i cant answer this for you, neither can anyone else. i say this mainly because the dream involves demons.....and since it has demons in it, it only makes me wonder if satan is involved here. i mean WHOS TO SAY that demons can't enter into your dreams. if they can possess people, whats to say they cant possess inside your dreams? im not trying to scare you here, but im just trying to give you something more to think about when dealing with dreams. and like i said.....since demons are involved in the dream......im less likely to trust it since demons are involved. get what im saying?

LRD_nick Nightmare demons have to be one of the worst I get attacked all the time But Like I said go though your dream,show them your not afraid,even if your fallin into a raging rock bottom river,go though your dream. hee hee that only works if your a lucid dreamer (you realize your dreaming and can mentally control your dream)
