(f) Hera Lv. 49 Hp 360/360 Exp (20/50) Magical Leaf-40 Thunderbolt-85 Psychic-100 Imprison - Prevents opponent from using attacks known by the user
(m) Triton Lv. 22 Hp-210/210 Exp (2/26) Surf-75 Powder Snow-30 Body Slam- 60 may cause paralysis (1/3 chance) Water Gun-25
Henna complied with the rules of the gym, sending out two of his poke'mon in response to the Solrock and Lunatone that were his opponents. He was in a bit of trouble, but he'd do his best. "Hera, use Imprison and Triton, blast them both with Surf!" {{-150 from Lunatone, -150 from Solrock. 410hp Lunatone, 410hp Solrock. Lunatone's Psychic was locked!}}
Wincing that his Lunatone's best attack was rendered useless, Tate ordered his poke'mon to use a Future Sight on Triton. Liza on the other hand, had his Solrock charge up for a Solarbeam.
"Alright Triton, let's use another Surf! Hera, blast that Solrock with Thunderbolt," Henna called out to his poke'mon. He wanted the larger threat gone before he dealt with the second set of poke'mon. {{-150 from Lunatone, -235 from Solrock. 260hp Lunatone, 175hp Solrock}}
The twins were suprised that their poke'mon were being knocked out so fast. However, as gym leaders, they had to do everything in their power to eliminate the competition. Tate commanded his Lunatone to use a Future Sight on Hera, whereas Liza's Solrock unleased its Solarbeam on Triton. {{-200 from Triton. 10hp Triton}}
Henna winced as his poke'mon took the blast, and as the dust cleared, he hoped that he didn't lose his Spheal. However, Triton was waving back and forth on his stomach, considering this all play. Henna had to laugh. The poke'mon had taken a major beating, and it was laughing it off. "Good job Triton. Use another Surf buddy! Hera," Henna called out to his Gardevoir, "used another Thunderbolt on that Solrock." Hera complied, blasting the rock poke'mon with a surge of electrical power. {{-150 from Lunatone, -235 from Solrock. 110 hp Lunatone, Solrock has fainted}}
Liza twitched and waited for his brother to make his move. It was risky, but he had to wait till the Lunatone fainted. Tate, had no other choice. His poke'mon was just going to be a liability right now. He hung his head as he asked Lunatone to use Explosion. Lunatone, realizing that it wasn't going to do much damage otherwise, had no problem in doing so. It blew up at Hera, sending a major shockwave through the room, sending Henna, Liza and Tate backwards, and hurting Hera badly. {{-230 from Hera. 130hp Hera. Lunatone has fainted!}}

Lv. 78 Hp-570 Calm Mind-+20 to next psychic attack Psychic-100 Ominous Wind-45 Future Sight-60 Attacks two turns later.
Tate wasn't going to go down so easily. He was having too much fun. He tossed out his Claydol. This thing trumped his Lunatone in just about everyway possible, and so would be much harder to deal with. Liza sent out his Xatu. He wasn't too happy that his Solrock fainted, but that's what it's like to be a gym leader. You win some you lose some.

(f) Hera Lv. 49 Hp 130/360 Exp (20/50) Magical Leaf-40 Thunderbolt-85 Psychic-100 Imprison - Prevents opponent from using attacks known by the user
(m) Triton Lv. 22 Hp-10/210 Exp (2/26) Surf-75 Powder Snow-30 Body Slam- 60 may cause paralysis (1/3 chance) Water Gun-25
Henna wasn't sure his two poke'mon, Triton and Hera would outlast the two new combatants, however, he was going to darn well try. He did have four other poke'mon to use besides these two, which relieved him of some of his worries. "Hera, let's blast that bird with a Thunderbolt!" Turning to Triton, he called out, "Alright buddy, Surf these guys one more time!" {{-150 from Claydol, -245 from Xatu. 440hp Claydol, 325hp Xatu.}}
Nodding to each other, Liza and Tate had their poke'mon synchronize their attacks. Claydol used Earthquake, hitting both Hera and Trition, and Xatu finished off Hera's last remaining health an Ominous Wind. Their endurance overloaded, both Triton and Hera fainted, clearing the pathway for another set of poke'mon. {{Hera fainted! Triton fainted!}}
Henna put his head down commending his poke'mon for fighting as well as they did, despite the skill difference. Henna picked up the next two poke'mon and called for them. "Alright Cygnas, Jupiter, you're up!" He threw the poke'balls out onto the field, releasing the Altaria and the Plusle. "Cygnas, put to sleep that Claydol." To Jupiter, Henna gave the task of electrifying the Xatu with his strongest attack. {{-200 from Xatu, Claydol has fallen asleep. 440hp Claydol, 125hp Xatu.}}
Tate was a little peeved that his Claydol refused to wake up this turn, but he was going to keep trying. The Plusle was weak versus Claydol's best attack, so he wanted to rid Liza of the menace before he found himself in real trouble. Liza called out to his Xatu, asking it to blast the Plusle with a Psychic, hurting it some. {{-100 from Plusle. 310hp Plusle}}
Jupiter shook off the attack, returning back to his duty of frying the bird. Cygnas was beginning to weaken down the Claydol, who posed a threat, a rather large one to Jupiter. She used her strongest dragon breath, wreaking havoc on the ground of the gym. {{-200 from Xatu, -80 from Claydol. 360hp Claydol, Xatu has fainted!}}
Liza was shocked. He was beaten first both times. Usually it was the other way around, and he returned his poke'mon, sighing a bit. Tate was now alone, which distressed him a bit, however, his poke'mon managed to wake up and unleashed an earthquake. The quake targeted all the poke'mon in the room, and it shook the building quite a lot. The supports in the room were looking a bit worse for wear after the dust settled from the attack. {{-200 from Jupiter. 210hp Jupiter. The attack missed Cygnas.}}
Henna asked Cygnas to continue her assault on Claydol, and then he faced Jupiter, telling him that he now needed to use his Last Resort, to really harm the opposition. Complying, the poke'mon released their attacks into the room, aiming for the Claydol. Though it was severely weakened, it still managed to keep fighting. {{-280 from Claydol. 80 hp left}}
Tate, was very nervous now. His poke'mon was losing to much, much weaker ones. This was a blow to his pride as a gym leader, however, he wasn't going down without a major fight. Hoping that the building wasn't going to collapse on him, and the poke'mon, he called to his Claydol to use an Earthquake. It complied, blasting the ground with massive energy and in effect hurt Jupiter. {{-200 from Jupiter. 10hp Jupiter. The attack missed Cygnas.}}
He smiled. He smiled really big. Jupiter was still surviving, even after two major attacks like this. "Alright Jupiter! Let's end this fight. You'll get the honor of finishing these guys off." Henna couldn't help but smile. His poke'mon was seriously beating up these guys, and it took the punishment as well.AS low as its stamina was, Jupiter had every right to use his Last Resort. Launching himself into the Claydol, he knocked it over, by ramming it head first. Not able to get up, Claydol, submitted defeat. {{Claydol has been defeated!}}
Mossdeep City-Liza and Tate "Congratulations. That battle was spectacular, and you are more than deserving of this prize." Henna has earned the Psychic Badge! Henna has earned TM04 Calm Mind! Cygnas, Jupiter, Hera, and Triton all earn 18 exp!

It wasn't easy to get onto the reef that supported Shoal Cave. There wasn't much to hoist yourself onto, however, after a few minutes of struggling, and a couple scratches, Henna managed to climb up. He withdrew Cygnas, who easily floated up, and Triton, who had carried Henna through the waters. "Must be nice to be able to fly," Henna commented sarcastically about his Altaria's easy maneuvers.
He turned and right behind him was the gaping hole that was Shoal Cave's entrance. It was massive, and dark. He could feel a chilly wind blowing out of the entrance, which discouraged Henna from going in. But he needed the training if he was to be able to beat Wallace, the strongest gym leader in Hoenn.
