So with the thought of an interesting cave to explore, even if it was dangerously close to Lance and the rest of the Elite Four, Chloe eventually headed west from town. She made it past the grassy areas with little difficulty, and made her way to the guard post near the entrance to the caves that led to Victory Road.
"Heading to challenge the Elite Four?" the guard asked as Chloe passed.
"Haha, nope, not yet. Just training," she replied, "Hopefully one day I'll be taking this route for real, but for now, we're hoping to get stronger."
After checking in with the guard, showing that she had collected enough badges to pass through, Chloe was well on her way into the caves.

Hyper, Playful, Likes to run off Ominous Wind- 50 Silver Wind- 50 Disable- 5 Negates last move used by opponent until it faints Supersonic- 10 Confuses foe 1/3 Ritz chased after her wayward Bug type, knowing Buju would probably wreak havoc on the townsfolk without meaning to if she didn't catch him quickly enough.

Hyper, Playful, Likes to run off Ominous Wind- 50 Silver Wind- 50 Disable- 5 Negates last move used by opponent until it faints Supersonic- 10 Confuses foe 1/3 Buju continued to fly ahead of Ritz, determined to not be caught before he was ready to go back to his trainer. Things like that always happened. He'd run off, she'd give chase and they'd wind up in the next town over before she realized it. That was his way of telling her to get a move on.

Ritz {M} Buju Exp| 7/15 Lv. 10 HP. 70 Pers. Hyper, Playful, Likes to run off Ominous Wind- 50 Silver Wind- 50 Disable- 5 Negates last move used by opponent until it faints Supersonic- 10 Confuses foe 1/3 Ritz kept on running after her Pokemon companion, almost not even noticing the Pokemon that appeared before her. The small Rattata that rushed from the bushes was quickly blown away by a wicked Silver Wind from Buju. "Eep!" Ritz jumped back a step or two, surprised more by Buju's sudden defense of her than the Rattata's attack. "Don't be so mean!" she shrieked as she dug a Pokeball from her messenger bag and flipped it at the rodent.

Rather odd. Chews on things that should break her teeth. Tackle- 20 Tail Whip- 5 Ritz caught the Pokeball that contained the newly captured rodent Pokemon and looked at it. "I'll call you Rabite." she commented to the occupied ball before she whistled for Buju to hold still for a few moments. Yes the Pokemon was annoying and prone to run off but he knew that whistle. It meant he didn't have to come back yet but he should stop for a moment. Ritz rushed to the PokeCenter and got her new Rattata healed up, then headed out and whistled to Buju once more, signaling the Pokemon that he could flee once more. Which he did with all haste. Northward he flew, leading Ritz into the forest. *moving to Viridian Forest*

She could see the path to the woods up ahead. Filled with bug Pokemon. She never really had a problem with the bug types, but she didn't want to be chased by angry Beedrill for coming too close to their nest. That wasn't particularly on her to-do list for the afternoon.
"Keep an eye out, kay?" she requested of the Ekans on her shoulder, "I'd like to keep a low profile in here. The fewer distractions the better," she laughed lightly, patting Ahi, who hissed out an echoing laugh, but nodding. He would keep watch to see if anything they should avoid was in the area.
"Thanks buddy," Chloe grinned, passing by the roadsigns that pointed towards the north.

Using the distraction of the other cities being invaded, Team Rocket had little trouble taking over Viridian. Even with its gym, the Rockets had little trouble getting past the town's defenses. A young teen was traveling with them, a Feraligatr by his side. The Rockets regarded him with respect. And perhaps a bit of fear. It was clear he held a lot of power amongst the admins, and so the mere grunts regarded him like a god. “Any issues to report?" he asked an admin. “None whatsoever, sir,” the admin saluted. “Alright then, I'll be on my way then. Be sure to keep things under control," Silver stated.

But seeing as though Kage had years of experience working with pokemon to help anyone caught in the heavy snowstorms around Snowpoint it was easy to get along with his new friends. Just as he had arrived at the entrance to the Viridian Forest Fira was up ahead and had encountered a wild Butterfree in the process. It was circling this charmander threateningly and Fira stood her ground waving her tail back and forth as if she was going to turn around and swat it. Kage was quick to catch up, yelling "Fira, use Ember!" as he drew closer with every step.
