Professor Oak smiled kindly, seeing the nervousness of the boy who had just entered his lab. "Its perfectly fine," he assured Justin with a nod, still smiling, "I'm always eager to see new trainers starting out, so I try to help all I can. A Bulbasaur, correct? Just give me a moment and I'll be right back," he stated, doing just that. Oak retreated to the back rooms of the lab, returning a moment later with a Pokeball containing the requested started. He pressed the release on the ball, revealing Justin's new partner. "I'm sure the two of you will make a great team," Oak grinned, handing over the Bulbasaur's Pokeball. He also gave Justin a Pokedex to record his data, as well as several empty Pokeballs and basic healing potions to help get the boy started. Justin has received: or  Bulbasaur Lv 5 HP-40 Gender- Male Attacks Tackle-20 Growl-10 {{Welcome to the guild! Aku woke up bright and early on the day of his tenth birthday. His heart beat furiously as he pulled on clothes and ran out of the house without breakfast. He ran up the steps to Professer Oak's Pokemon Lab and ran inside. "Professor!" He cried out, "Do you still have any Squirtles? It's my tenth birthday and I choose Squirtle as my partner!"
(Ooc: I'm following a bit off the Anime since the games never told what age the character was)

Professor Oak nodded kindly, smiling as Aku made his request. It was always nice to see a new trainer off as he/she started their grand adventure. "Of course," Oak stated, "Squirtle, right?" he set down his research papers for a moment, to go retreive the requested water turtle. Oak returned a short bit later, in the middle of registering Aku with the Pokemon League. After typing in a few master codes to the Pokedex in his hand, it beeped, whirred, and finally settled on a, "Registration Complete!" "Along with your new Pokedex, here, take these," Oak offered, motioning to a side table along the wall. On it were several empty Pokeballs, as well as basic healing Potions. "These will help get you started in catching and raising your team," the Professor explained. "And perhaps most important of all..." he smiled, holding up a single Pokeball. "Here is your Squirtle. I'm sure the two of you will make a great team once you get to know each other," Oak pressed the release on the ball, letting the small Pokemon out to meet its new trainer for the first time. Some of the first rays of the early morning sun shone through her window as Emiri awoke, early before her parents just as always. She was a natural morning person, getting up with the sun every morning, not as a routine, but out of habbit. She stretched as she sat up in her bed, and looked around her spotless room endearingly, for this would be the last day she would see it for a while.
She woke herself up as she began her morning's tasks. She made her bed, straightened up her room, got out a set of clothes for the day, and got herself ready in the bathroom, and ate breakfast at her window. She hadn't packed yet, for the night before, she promised her parents she would come home after getting her pokemon from the lab, and let them meet her pokemon as she packed her things, and made sure she said goodbye to everyone.
Emiri cleaned her place from breakfast, grabbed her backpack, and quietly left the house, getting on her bike, and heading towards the inner town to Professor Oak's lab.
The air was clean and crisp as she rode past the fields on the path, the sun coming up gently over the horizon, warm and inviting. There was a slight breeze that flowed through the trees as it carried the clouds that were just appearing the early morning sky.
Emiri came up to the Professor's lab, and set her bike down by the front steps. She made sure she looked presentable as she walked up the steps to the large laboratory. The doors were open, and felt inviting as she walked in quietly, and looked around as a quiet, "Hello," escaped her.
"Professor Oak, is my Charmander here?"

He spotted Emiri entering and offered a nod and a smile of greeting as he listened to the girl's request. "Ah, so you're just starting out in the Pokemon world, eh? Up early this morning as well, I see. I like that spirit," Oak smiled widely, brightening at the prospect of getting another new trainer started out. "And you selected a Charmander," Oak reasoned with a nod, "Just a moment, and I'll return with your starter Pokemon." The professor then retreated to the back of his lab. He returned a short while later, carrying everything Emiri would need to start out on her journey. Oak handed over a Pokedex, which was now synchronized with her trainer ID and registration into the Pokemon League, several empty Pokeballs, as well as some potions to Emiri, before handing her a separate Pokeball. "This one contains your first Pokemon," he explained, motioning to the switch that would release the Charmander from the device. The sun was high and hot as Silje stepped into town. She looked around with a smile and wiped some sweat from her brow. It had been a long journey, but she was finally here. Pallet town. After a long drink of water from her water bottle, she began walking though town, examining the buildings she passed.
Her parents hadn't understood the need for her to come here. They had offered her any pokémon she wanted, from the most prestigious breeders in any region, but she had denied them. This was something she needed to do on her own. Soon she saw the large building she knew to be Professor Oak's lab. She walked up the steps slowly, looking around. She pushed the door open slowly and stepped inside.
"Hello?" She called, walking slowly inside, her bag clutched tight to her side. "Hello my... my name is Silje. I heard... I heard this was where I could get.. get a pokémon? i was hoping I could get... get a Charmander? If that's okay?" She blushed and bit her lip hopefully.

Professor Oak looked up from his computer screen, smiling brightly, "Why hello! So you're here to start out in the world of Pokemon. Wonderful news!" The professor listened to the request of the girl, nodding easily when she requested a Charmander. "Of course, Charmander it is. If you'll just give me one moment, I'll be right back," Oak offered, rising from his desk before heading back to the research portion of his lab. He returned after a bit, holding a new Pokedex, registered for the new trainer with the Federation, along with several empty Pokeballs and Potions. These he handed over to Silje carefully, before heading to the side, where he kept the Pokeballs for the starting Pokemon. "Ah, here we are," he smiled, lifting one of the Pokeballs from the shelf, before pressing the release on the device. With a faint flash of light, the Charmander emerged, yawning, as her tail flared to life. She regarded Silje carefully, as Oak handed the ball over to the girl. "This here will be your new partner. I hope the two of you get along well. If there's anything you need, feel free to ask. They don't call me the Pokemon Professor for nothing," the older man winked with a grin. "I'm sure the two of you have a grand adventure in the making." Silje has received: or Charmander Lv 5 HP-40 Gender: Female Attacks Scratch-20 Growl-10 Exp (0/15)

"Th-thank you very much." Silje said softly, kneeling down to look her newfound friend in the eye. After a moment, she smiled brightly and took a few steps back. When the Charmander followed, she giggled and knelt down again to rub her head. "I'm going to call you Celia." She whispered before calling the small orange creature back into its ball.
She looked back to Professor Oak with sparkling eyes and thanked him once more before rushing out into the bright day to begin her training! Well, maybe after a bit of lunch.
