Say, no one's mentioned the release date for "Deathly Hallows".
It's in July sometime, potentially 21st, can't quite remember. Possibly one of my more useless posts... Still, I've pre-ordered it, so I don't need to know when it's out, just wait for it to arrive on my doorstep smile
I just watched "Goblet of Fire" again. I'd forgotten David Tennant was in it. He does make smashing villains.

Since my copy of Half-Blood Prince cost me the... ummm... princely sum of £4.99 the weekend after it was released, I'm holding off pre-ordering.

The local Kwik Save. Which is unfortunately now closed, but WH Smith was offering Half-Blood Prince at half price. Maybe they'll be doing that again.

I'll probably persuade the family to buy it out of mutual curiosity again.

So, Nuala, are you still going to wait a week for Harry Potter? I reckon I won't be able to avoid spoilers for more than 24 hours. As of this evening, I am an internet- & other media-free zone. I'll see you guys again on Sunday sometime smile
Samwise, are you still joining the queues tonight for Waterstones? Let us know how it went!

Apologies for double posting, but I felt the fact that I have now read all Harry Potter books needed its own post.
I'm done; finished approximately 10 minutes ago. My copy arrived at 11.05am, so that was only about 6 hours. Not bad going.
Spoilers will wait until a few more people have read it, but all I can say is this. I didn't cry, but it was damn close...

I, on the other hand, did. Twice.
Jury's still out on alot of things, but it was a nice conclusion to the series, I certainly feel good things towards it.

Hey, I was beginning to think I was the only guild member who was going to read the book smile
Oh and welcome back!

Read it on the 23rd, but I've been kind of offline since.
