I am the anime, ddr playing type with style I dress in jeans and a t-shirt most of the times my jeans have paint on them. because I am SUCH the artist! Anywho!! yea, my 'goth' or rivet friends laugh at me, when i take them somewhere I have my hiphop and bass blaring in mah car, and most of the time I talk gangsta' yo! That must a sight of note cool My friends get into my car, get out my CD labelled "For normal use only" and my friends are all "YAY MUSIC I KNOW!! mrgreen " whilst I mope and frown and be all emo and soo completely misunderstood ninja

The only stuff that they tolerate is only things they have heard on the radio or TV. So they may listen to some old school rock, but only if it's on the radio sweatdrop But! I like emo, indie, punk, rock, some metal, classical, 80's, opera (at times), and that's basically it. I appreciate one or two 'pop' songs, but that really depends on my mood. The only other bands/artists that I listen out of these genres is ABBA, P!nk, Black Eyed Peas and Missy Elliott. And if I'm really in a dark mood, then I'll turn to Coal Chamber and/or one of my former dark beloved before I lightened up a bit on the anger side. And may I add, I often listen to bands that, by definition, not everybody has heard of sweatdrop I adore the Dresden Dolls, but they are completely unknown but to a handful here. I'm still to meet this handful.

I have lately gotten into soundtracks. Tecxnolyze has really good music but sucks as a show. I really like the Erotic Lounge CD I found for a buck the other day, and I'm always looking for something new that not a ton of other people really know a lot about. The Shadow of the Collossus soundtrack is good, so is the one for GITS first and second gig.
For X-mas, I'm making everyone in my family a mix CD different from last year's. They're relatively inexpensive, but people really like music, and I think that one of the most important things you can share with your loved ones is both music that you know is great plus the time and energy that they know went into your gift.

That is a great idea for gifts!! you are brillaint. I loved Shadow of the collossus and I would bet the sound track is amazing. You may also like a band called Delerium their music is mellow and very inidainish in a way. Try and find something of theres, really nice. Also! Ihave been listen to alot of Aqua latly, if you want something that will make you peppy and bounce go for one of there songs "Happy Boys, and Girls" is a great one! ^___^ cha!!!
