Out of all the Street Fighter Series, which one do you think is the best? Or atleast your most favorite?
My most favorite is Street Fighter: Third Strike mrgreen

my best street fighter is, without a doubt, alpha 3. when i got it for ps1, i literally played it for almost 200 hours. most of the time was spent in final battle fighting shin akuma over and over.
as for best character, its a tossup between karin and evil ryu. alpha 3's evil ryu is overall his most effective of all his game appearances too.

For me, it has to be a tie between Third Strike and Alpha 3. Both games are very well done, not to mention decently balanced, with the glaring exception of a few characters here and there.
My favorite characters would have to be...
Alpha 3: Karin, Juni, Guy and Charlie
Third Strike: Ibuki, Makoto, Yun

Gotta say Alpha 3 for me. Don't get me wrong, Third Strike was awesome, and the best updated to SFIII, but the Alpha series was just outright the best for me. As for fav. it's a tie. It's either Rolento or Sagat. His multi-hit uppercut is just nasty. May not do a heck of a lot of damage, but just like pennies, they do add up.

I Kei I For me, it has to be a tie between Third Strike and Alpha 3. Both games are very well done, not to mention decently balanced, with the glaring exception of a few characters here and there. Very nice, I was gonna say the same! I don't dare compare the two to each other, but they're both the best at what they do. My favorites would be: Alpha 3 -> Charlie, Cody, and Ryu 3rd Strike -> Ken, Makoto, and a 3rd I haven't decided on yet.. sweatdrop
