Bellebelle, I know my Japanese sucks a**, but would it be 'Atashi no shi?"
In Chobits, Atashi is that cute little bunny rabbit-thingy, and we never find out her name she is just 'Atashi' which is 'I'... So wouldn't that make more sense? Maybe they have masculin/feminin for some things, like in French. That would be funny if you were using the wrong 'I' xDDDD
But my Japanese sucks a**, so I'm probably wrong xD

Japanese pronouns depend on what you want to say about yourself. "Watashi" is formal and common. Likewise if you wanted to appear extremely manly, you would say "Ore."
