How would you add extra limbs?

I need to figure out how to make added limbs such as 4 arms or 6 legs? Because I am planning on doing an edit of general grievious from
Star Wars III... any help?

couldent you just use an extra pair of arms? like have to avis and rease all but the arms from one, then add the arms onto the second base?[sorry if its confuseing]

try that I will [when my computer is safe ninja ] I am afraid to get anything cuz so far I've went through 2 computers in less than year, both from failing graphics cards... and today I just got this computer that I am on now sweatdrop

Yes / No

YES = Because I do not have one yet
NO = Because I no longer have gimpshop to make my edits [afraid that it messed up my comp so I'm leaving it alone for a bit]
