If I Could Change The Past
If I could change the past it would
not only be my own.
But the world around me.
The things I would change would
be for the better.
If I could change the past there
would be no killing, no hate, no killing.
No discrimination of one color, all
would be the color of love and
understanding.
But, the fact is, I cannot change that
has been done before my time.
Without war, hate, or dictation,
there would be no history.
No Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.,
or no war ever.
If I could change the past everyone
would love.
But I am not in the past.
Only in the future.
