If you're not a fan of abstract art than I can understand why you may not like this, so feel free to critisise.

I used acyrlics to paint this, and the other end of the paint bruch to scratch into the paint in places. If you ask me what it's actually of, then I'd say it's a representation of anxiety and fear, because at the time I was sorta depressed and worried about things in my life, and so I just painted this whilst concentrating on the feeling.

I kind of reconize it,

I use a circle to to show my inner struggle.

Tainted_Destiny, I can't see your picture. sad

I can see Hasel's, though. I love the colors and the effect the swirls have on the picture. It's really nice! If I were to do abstract, that is probably the way I would go.

I have never really been into abstract before, although lately I have started doing collages using cool textures and colors. I don't know if they would be actually be considered abstract or not, though my husband likes them. I've always wondered how unreal does a piece have to be to be considered abstract?

Two of my more "abstract" collages are here, although I'm not looking for any critiques yet because I am fairly new to this whole thing and am still trying to figure things out.
