I have not read the manga and have no intrest in doing so. I prefer the anime. Its was my very first anime ever and I love it to death. I always go by the anime.

I go by both because I like the Super S season better in the magna, but I like the rest of the seasons both ways.

Mostly the manga, because in many cases the stories and characters are more deep and diverse. But the villains were given more personality in the anime, even though some of them just dragged on and on...
I also like Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon (The Live Action), it's campy but it's adorable and a lot of fun.

I go by Anime but I think Manga has a better plotline and better um... symbolism.
