If it means that we'll see the conclusion of "Age of Wrath", then so be it... but once issue six has found itself into my possession, the bothers Lee can kindly get stuffed, as far as I'm personally concerned.

I read in a news blurb this afternoon that IDW is looking to finish up whatever projects that Dreamwave had going including War Within and Energon. Apparently they're also putting together collections of the old Marvel comics and selling 'best of' collections I'm guessing in the same vein as the Titan collections. Maybe the Lee's won't have their last shot at the TF franchise after all. biggrin

That is good news smile I like DW but if they screw over the artists and everything then I rather another company take over TF.

No way that'll ever happen; the industry is wired up that way. It's nice to dream, but there's just no way - the toy range has already moved on from Energon, so the general market audience would have lost interest, and as for War Within, that's a Dreamwave property. The Lee's won't let go of that, for any reason.

Well, if the current news is any indictation, IDW has managed to grab War Within. They also still have plans to finish energon and will release their own Beast Wars mini-series. It'll be kinda sad to not see a proper ending for the G1 dreamwave comics, but it seems IDW might be up to the task. They just better not screw this up like they did Silent Hill and Castlevania. evil And for god's sake, keep Scott Ciencin away from the comics!
