gory blood isn't popular in modern horror films. Don't worry they will come around and see the light again XD

XD I've always been squeamish around blood, so I don't care to see any gory scenes.

I'll watch suspense movies... but not the 'scary' movies.

So~ I hope they put in all the blood you want into the newer movies. I just won't watch 'em. x3

it's not so much the lack of blood as it is the time restraints.... a lot of the bloody sences are usually the first to get edited for time...

i think that a phsycological thriller is far more scary than your average blood n guts so i tend to prefer those , however i can sympathise with you in soe respects , i saw a film where a guy got hot the other day and there was no blood at all... i thought that was a little hard to believe...

I think horror has diminished their amount of blood because of different critics and what not saying that much blood is bad for young children to see. First off, you shouldn't let them see that if you don't want them to by knowing what's in a film before renting it. Blood isn't bad either, we all have it.. it's just underneath the skin and a few muscle tissues.

I love blood and gore in movies [Personal favorite movies: Silence of the Lambs, Hanibal, and Red Dragon] as long as they are realistic in their portayal of the blood. No extra thin blood, or rediculous amounts of blood from a small cut or something. That just makes me laugh....
