Khepri meandered her way across the burning sands at a fairly decent pace. She had just come from her impromptu "meeting" with that horrid purple blob of a lion on the edges and she was feeling fairly like crap. She hadn't meant to hurt him so, but had all the same.

Sighing as she stopped in her tracks, the Juvenile looked up at the burning sun and wondered where on earth she'd gotten her mean streak from. Most of the time she was nice, she even hated voilence. But from time to time...

You get it from your hate.

You're still a Firekin. Deal.

Khepri scowled and kept walking again as the voices taunted her. They were relentless anymore.

Motobi'ata scrambled about, as she spotted her older sibling out and about in the desert. She quirked a brow, at the angry juvenile, and shrugged. She sifted closer, inching behind her sister. She was somewhat afraid of her, since she seemed to have the ideal 'firekin' anger, unlike herself. Thats what happened when you were the runt of the litter.

She came padding limply, weakly beside Khepri, and then looked to her, eyes slanted with sorrow. As she spoke, her words were soft, yet raspy.

"Khe ... pri? What are you so mad?" She just couldn't understand the concept at all, in her mind. She was too much like her soft-hearted father; Kavuasi. Especially since she never left him often, this was a first for her.

Glancing over at her younger and darker sister, immediatly Khepri's face and emotions softened and she bumped her head against Moto's. For some reason she'd always had a soft spot for her little sister, though mostly she didn't let others see that she was always soft on the inside. It was simply on the oustside that she attempted to be like a normal firekin.

Though at times when she was angry as now when she'd hurt someone... matters were a little different.

"It's nothin', don' worry Ata." She said gently, sitting down next to the darker female silently and looking out over the bright sunlit day. "Why yo' so far away from da?" She asked, her shimmering tinged golden eyes sparkled as she did so.

"Well, daddy told me to well, go explore for a little. I really ... didn't want to." She came closer to her sister, in freight. She clung to her, and peered about at the barren desert land. "How about we ... go back to mommy and daddy?" She was just dying to know.

A little laugh escaped from Khepri's white muzzle and she batted at her sister's head with a paw. "I guess it is time we went back home for you eh?"

Grabbing her sister's tail and tugging it lightly, she started a very cub-like run back towards her den, the last one that Khepri would ever make.

Motobi'ata's eyes lit up with happiness as she trailed behind her elder sibling. She never truely felt a connection between any of her brothers or sisters, mostly because she was extremely independent, and kept to herself often. She nodded, answering to Khepri's question, and then got a tug to the tail, before the fled, racing behind her sister.

They made their way towards the den, the young cub curious of the happenings around them. She was hoping that father was still about, for she dearly missed him. She missed him so much, it was to the point where her obsession over her father was ... clingy. She was destined the be the runt; the daddy's little girl. The suck up.

But, the Firekin were cracked up, they always were. And things would never change, despite Moto's odd behaviors.
