This is a public roleplay. All play done here is linear. Try to avoid any one liners, but at least write stuff out. Anyone may join, but try to leave or join in a way that allows others to get out of their situation should you forget to come back. so they can roleplay with others. if anyone besides the original players join.. please post when you leave with [brackets] where you're at.... thanks.
I will be playing with both of mine. My Carly and Johanna.

Carly followed Johanna into the common room. She hated how overly peppy Jo could get sometimes. Not that Carly was always grumpy, but she was so not the type for spazzing. She liked being entertained rather then doing teh entertaining. She plopped on one of the sofas. She started giving a blank look at some magazines on the coffee table. Johanna popped in to say she forgot about a dance class she had to leave to right away. Carly nodded sitting there alone. "That's great... she drags me out here saying how I need more social exposure. And, then she takes off."

Opening his eyes slowly, Remington woke up and straightened, shifting carefully in his seat so that he did not disturb the little blue fairy still asleep in his lap. Amaya had been very disinclined to leaving the orphanage, so what had started as a simple pickup had resulted in Remington spending much of his time in the orphanage to tend to the little girl.
The dog boy looked up and around from his easy chair, noticing quickly someone he had never seen before. Gently gathering the little fairy into his arms, Remington stood up and moved slowly over to the sofa where the newcomer sat. "Hello," he said softly, giving her a warm smile.

Carly gave with something of a obvious startle. She hadn't realized anyone was there. She looked at the fairy with him. She looked up at him looking him over. "Hello.... you scared me a little. I didn't see you come in.."

Remington chuckled softly, shifting Amaya a bit so he had a more secure hold on the little one. "Ah, we beg pardon, then. We've been here a while... I was reading to Amaya here and she fell asleep on me, quite literally." He smiled again, this time at the fairy grasping at his jacket in her sleep. He turned back to the new Tahnee and nodded towards one arm of the sofa. "Would you mind if Amaya and I joined you?"

"Um. Sure, if you want. I'm not really doing anything yet. I usually hang out in my room. But, my roommate insisted I get out and do something. I am not sure what I should do though. I usually just think about what it'd be like to have lots of money." She wanted to smack herself. What was she thinking to just say that to someone. What if it made her sound like a greedy jerk? x_X

Nodding his head at her reply, the dog boy slowly lowered Amaya's sleeping form into one corner of the sofa, taking a seat between her and the other Tahnee. At the girl's remark about how she usually spent her time, Remington's smile faltered for a fraction of second, but he chuckled softly. "I see. I suppose thinking of what having lots of money would be like is one step to figuring out what you'd like to do with that money. However... having money... while it may seem convenient, isn't everything."
He broke away from his thoughts with a start. "Oh, pardon my rudeness," he said, renewing his smile. "I haven't introduced myself. My name is Remington."
