Following behind Xu she giggled, "I suppose it is." She looked at the cub tail flickered as she padded long behind.
"Yes daddy said the king and queen are rather nice, I heard they're getting quite old though." She blinked for a second before giggling. "There's a good few lions that are my color I bet."
Nodding she grined, "I think daddy said my name ment golden beauty but I don't remember right off hand. It was a while ago."

"Maybbbe. I'm the same color as my daddy. But I have my mommy's yellow marks. My brother Jing does too! Everyone else is black like mommy." -She chattered on lightly as they walked, crouching and hopping up onto the rock as they finally reached it.
Settling over to make room for the other cub she grinned widely, before her eyes turned up towards the sky.- "That's a nice name too."

Zuri grinned as nodded, "Me and my brother are pretty much twins. We've got daddy's markings but I'm guessing we got our color from mother, because daddy doesn't have the golds in his coat."
She pounced ontop of the rock pawing at Xu once she she landed giggling before laying down with the cub. "Thanks" She turned her eyes to the sky looking at the clouds up above them. "Have you ever wondered what makes the clouds?" She asked looking from them to her friend and back

((They are twins actually. biggrin It's something in the Prideland royal blood, but I doubt the daddy would know that to tell them. XD ))
"Ohhhh, so your mommy is probably a golden lion then. She'd be hard to find in the pridelands!" -But with that, that conversation was done and she giggled a little, pawing back playfully in retaliation.
Eyes glancing high she watched the white gathering in the brillantly blue skies, trying to pick out a cloud that looked like something, until Zuri's question sounded.- "What makes them?" -She blinked in surprise. It was a good question. One she'd never thought about, but a very good question indeed.-
-Maw tightening in a look of soft thought, she pondered aloud.- "I don't know actually. They're soooo high. It can't be something the lions do."
"Maybe birds make them? Or stars? They're white like stars after all."

Zuri nodded and giggled at the retaliation. Her tail flickered as she watched the clouds looking for a shape of sorts or even a lion in them.
"I know, they look like they'd make nice things to sleep on." She said with a nod as she watched. "Maybe... or maybe they're their to keep the sky warm?" She said flickering her tail happily.

-A good place to sleep? To keep the sky warm? She pondered over the thoughts, relating it to the thing she liked to sleep against. Her mommy or daddy's belly.
Where clouds really like mommy and daddy bellies? That kept the sky warm? That must have been alot of work, since the sky was so big. Her ears flicked forward mulling over the thought. There were lots of them.. and they weren't really like mommies and daddies were they? Talking quietly to lull the sky to sleep. Did the sky sleep at night? Or maybe in the day like she did. She certainly seemed to see clouds in the day more often.
But then where were their heads!? She was so confused. She'd have to ask mom or dad. For now she just stared at the sky, simply nodding.- "Maybe they're like that."

A giggle pass the golden female's maw. "Yeah Maybe, I mean after all those past kings need a place to sleep in the day." Her tail flickered as she watched.
Then a sudden ohhh, "Look Xu, a rabbit!" She pointed with her paw in the direction of the cloud that looked like a rabbit to her.

-The mention of past kings also confused the cub, as of yet having not heard of the beliefs that touched these lands. But it was quickly forgotten as Zuri pointed out the cloud.
And after giving a bit of a rabbit-like hop and giggle, she nodded before beginning to search the sky some more, ears flicking forward as if they'd help out in the search.- "I wonder if we can find some lion ones, or flower ones."

Zuri chuckled and looked around the sky as she shurged, "Maybe There's so many there's bound to be a lion or a flower." She grinned still looking around the sky.
"Maybe there wil even be priderock up there?" She looked over to Xu for a second before turning back up to the sky.

-Zuri was right, there certainly were alot of clouds up there, more then she could even count. And as they moved they shifted, ever so slowly changing shapes.
They must be one up there. Ears perking with Zuri's words, she giggled.- "That'd be a really silly shaped cloud!"
-Eyes focusing on the clouds she watched them pass with soft concentration until finally she hopped, pointing excitedly to a cloud with stray whisps that billowed out like petals.- "Look! There is one! A flower cloud!"

Looking at the could Xu pointed out Zuri also bounced with a giggle, "Yay!! It is a flower!!" Her tial flickered happily behind her.
"I wish we could pick them." She said with a giggle, "they'd make really pretty gifts." She looked around for more clouds shaped like flowers. "Ohh look there's another flower looking one." She pointed the opposite way of the first.
She giggled looking over to xu, "Do you do this with you're family?" She asked tilting her head slightly as she watched the clouds dance.

"That would be an awesome gift!" -She pondered over the thought softly, thinking of taking home a cloud flower for her mother.. or perhaps even stealing a star out of the sky for herself. That would be SO cool!
White and golden tail twitching she glanced around for something taller.- "The clouds are so high though.. we'd need to climb a tree to get one. Or maybe up on top of pride rock! I bet that's high enough."
"My family? No not yet, star gazing yes, but not cloud watching." -She giggled a little softly.- "Maybe I could ask my mom or dad too though!"

Zuri chuckled and nodded, "Yes it would be a lovely gift to give." She looked at Xu and smiled, "I know and they're so large. Ohhh on top of pride rock might just work." She said with a nod.
"I've only seen a few stars before I've had to go to bed." Her tail fllickered softly. As she watched the clouds move on slowly and dream like. "Yes maybe they've done it before."

-Xu's little maw streched wide with a yawn, blinking her eyes a few times as she watched the clouds drift. It wasn't a very good game for keeping her awake, the soft heavenly shapes trying to lull her to sleep.
The chatter in fact was the only thing that was keeping her up. Turning gently, to grin at the golden female, she mused softly.- "One day you should come play with my brothers and sisters and me. There are lots of us so we can play fun games. Hide and seek. Tag. Hunting party."

The golden female watched her new friend's maw strech with a yawn. Her tail flickered as she soon found herself yawning. It was starting to get late.... and she needed to get home soon. Least she wanted her father to worry.
"I'd love to come visit and play one day!" A grin sprawled over her maw as she sat up. "But I think I have to go. Before Daddy starts to worry." She looked around, "Bye Xu!!!"
With that Zuri ran off back towards her den.
