Okay, I know. "What's there to change?" It's a great series. But, there's always room for improvement, right? So what would you change about Suikoden that would make it even better.
I think I wuld change the battle encounter. Remove the random encounter and go the way of games like Chrono Cross. It's probably the only things I disliked about Suikoden 4 and 5.

I think the Suikoden series is feeling a little pressure from the release of the newer 'Prettier' games and is taking graphics into too much consideration over story. (example : Suikoden 4-- I thought the story was pretty bland compared to the others but they upped the graphics a bit more--I think.) Stick with that you know Suikoden. Great story and lovable-hatable characters!

I saw alot of empty space in alot of the towns even though the towns looked pretty (with the exception of Haud O.o)

Faster battle systems for me...
And some kind of auto-command thing for each party members. For instance, everytime I go into battle, I always use Belcoots' Falcon Rune. I don't WANT to select Rune - Falcon every single random battle... I should be able to go into the menu and set it that when I select 'auto,' Becloot would use his Falcon rune... instead of a normal attack. I think that would be... helpful.

Haud.. scream *imitating Haud's theme* In Suiko V, there was alot of empty space. I remember back in I and II the environments were more condensed but it was a lot nicer-- not to say that SV's towns aren't nice. But Empty -- those horrible angles too.. crying
I always use "Auto" anyways, but it'd be nice if you could customize each character for battle.

Oh, and even though it's too late now, I'd totally make everyone in Suikoden V pronounce Georg the right goddamn way!

I wish... *tries hard not to laugh* I wish there was a nicer way of putting it, but there's not. Really... I figured out when I was watching cutscenes in Japanese and they were all: "Gey-orgo-san..." And I was all: "LOLWTF." Georg is not, not matter how close the spelling, supposed to be pronounced as George. And that my friends, is a fact.

Well, when foreign words are pronounced in Japanese, it's a bit distorted since they try to pronounce it the way it originally is pronounced--but their alphabet/language doesn't permit them to say certain ....things*brain dead*. Ya got what I mean?! sweatdrop

But I don't think it would have hurt anybody if they at least tried to make it more like it's original version.

I'm not sure if 'Gay-org' would fly with the male populous--especially since people have branded Georg as a Manly-man.

Coco Holi I'm not sure if 'Gay-org' would fly with the male populous--especially since people have branded Georg as a Manly-man. If you say it correctly, it comes out like Geyerg... Which sounds like a type of iceberg... Look, even if they threw in a soft G at the end I wouldn't care... but "George?" I don't like it. Especially next to names like Lymsleia, Sialeeds and Miakis... It's so... out of place! Even Kyle has the potential to sound graceful.
