All release dates for games are the shipping date. The stores warehouses get them that day, and then the big trucks come the next day and gives them to the stores.
That's pretty commen knowledge...

Whoooa. Calm down Chris, dude. The game comes out TOMORROW or even as late as the 31st depending. It SHIPS today. Very few people get it today.

That's pretty commen knowledge... The stores do. When you get to the stores to pick it up, are the games not on the shelfs? They need time to stock up the shipment which usually happens hours before the store opens. SOMETIMES stores get them a day early Best Buy for example might have the game in there back room, but won't put it on the shelf till the next day.

ahh, the game stop still doesn't have it. My mom made me call for the same reason and they said they didn't have it. I'll call today [later].
