A couple days ago, I got a new hard drive... great deal: 30gb IDE, 7200rpm for $80.
Anyway, that got me thinking about hard drives. Does anyone know how Linux SATA support is? Does it work with most SATA hard drives, or what?
I have 2 SATA hard drives.
One is 200 GB and the other is 80 GB
Wow...your hard drive is EXPENSIVE!!!
i got my 200 GB 7,200 rpm SATA hard drive for $80 or something...but i bought the product from the country where it is manufactured.
ALthough only the 200 GB one works but then again-i used the disk utility that comes with Linux(Administration-Disks)
but iam going offtopic...
just to tell you, YES linux does support SATA. And quite well i have to say.
