Bari snorted, not touching the carcass until Mbali had moved a decently out of range. "Well...it'd be a waste tp just leave it here..." She said slowly before growling to herself. Picking up the rabbit, she trotted scornfully over to the white lion. "We'll share it then." She sneered, dropping the rabbit at his feet with a look of 'just take a damn bite so i can be happy now!'

"Wow The Ice Queen seems to softening." He chuckled and took a bite as she had wished him to do. He wasn't hungry but then a mouthful of rabbit never did anyone any harm!
His blue eyes never left the chocolate body of Bari either. She was a beauty. "Bari...." He whispered quietly to himself, suddenly wishing he hadn't said anything as he wouldn't a clue what to say if she had heard. He couldn't tell her he had strong feelings for her, that would make her hate him even more!!

"The what?!" She screeched, snarling at Mbali about ready to pounce him. What had he called her?!
At the soft whisper, her ears pinned back. "Whhhhat." She growled. If people wanted to say something, then they should say it all at once and not in an elapsed time! Baridi wasn't a patient one.

"Your beautiful!" He said rather quickly and suddenly. It just came out, he couldn't stop it.
What had he done now? He stood up ready to leave. He knew Bari would just get more annoyed or something, he had blown it. Stupid lion!

Oh yes, Mbali had blown it, but Bari didn't lead that on for the male. Instead, she feigned a shocked smile. "What?" She said softly, eyes softening onto Mbali. She scootched over to him, almost touching before...
"Do you think I care what you think of me?!" The mocha female growled angrilly. "No! I don't! Who would?" The female hissed, tail flicking as she backed away from Mbali. Her eyes were narrowed on the male, but her mind spoke to her 'what had she just done?' She shook her head. Nobody cared for her, Mbali was just trying to fool her! That's right. And that's why she had to think like that!

Mbali turned up and shook his head.
"One day you will see Bari, one day you will realize that through your stubborness and brattiness I do care for you, there is no reason why I do and don't you worry I see no reason to. I do though. I care for you greatly. I love you Bari. One day you might accept it." He sighed and turned to go.
She was younger then him, she couldn't understand, she would though, one day, she had to. He hoped.
He left her alone feeling shattered, feeling lost. She knew how to hurt him and do a good job at it.
