Okay my children, story time whee
Yesterday the company (Best Buy of course) decided to give their employees a in-store party for working so hard and because Best Buy's stock went up. At least all Best Buy stores in CA held one to the extent to my knowledge. Party was being held at the store.
Free food (not crap junk either, barbecue stuff ^_^) and free drinks (alcoholic or non). There was a poker tournament beind held at the front of the store and about 40 employees entered.
1st prize = Xbox 360 Pro 2nd prize = $100 gift card 3rd prize = $50 gift card
I have school in the morning at 7 AM the next day and considering that last year 20 employees entered and the game lasted till 2 AM there's no way I could've done it gonk But I did stay for the party till 11 PM
At the back of the store they dragged out an Xbox 360 a customer returned, dunno why it was returned because it seemed like nothing wrong with it. We put it on the table and someone bumped it and it dropped like a good 3 ft to the hard concrete ground gonk Luckily nothing was damaged eek
We hooked up the 360, grabbed Perfect Dark Zero and DOA4 from the shelves, and controllers that customers returned xd We used a 30 inch HD TV complete with 5.1 digital dobly surround sound twisted Oh and comfy couches ^_^
It was a blast. Too bad I couldn't stay longer, but yeah school comes first and I don't plan to stay at Best Buy forever (studying to become an engineer). But I gotta admit Best Buy is one of the best part time jobs I've ever had (okay, so it's only my 2nd part time job sweatdrop )
PICS COMING SOON MORTALS scream

Glad to hear your Best Buy doesn't suck. Mine never has any of the CD's I want. It stinks.

I've always liked Best Buy. Never worked there, but it's often the first place I go to for stuff.

Sounds sweet, except for the 360 and 30 inch, I already have those, well a 72 inch.

Capt. Insanity Glad to hear your Best Buy doesn't suck. Mine never has any of the CD's I want. It stinks. CD Universe, baby. Mine always has a decent classic rock album or DVD to buy so I'm good. Target's selection blows.

Best Buy is one of my favorite stores. I get discounts from my friend Tim, plus it has the best anime selection for a low price. I don't usually get games from them, EB is alot cheaper, but I got a WiFi USB connector for my DS.
Anyway, sounds like a fun time.

Best Buy wins at life. However, for music, I go to Planet Music.
