So I start school on Wednesday, which means I have today and tomorrow to write a couple of essays. Shouldn't be too bad.
One of those essays is an audioessay, which annoys the crap out of me. We were given a two word subject, and we have to write an essay on it, then speak that essay into a recording device to turn in on the first day of school. I don't have an effing recording device, so this makes me mad.
So yea, I'm supposed to be typing an essay right now.
Tell me:
Did you have summer reading this year?
When do you start school?
Are you ready for school?
Anything else along the lines of summer reading and the start of school.

Yeah. The Pearl by John something-or-other, which sucked, and some sort of play by some dude that I have yet to read.
When do you start school?
September 5th. Right after Labor Dabor.

I had to read three books for summer reading: Mythology by Edith Hamilton, Gift From the Sea by Anne Morrow Lindbergh, and The Kite Runner by Khalid Hossein. I actually enjoyed The Kite Runner.
I start school on September 6. Glee!
I am NOT ready for school; I need to write up a bunch of reflections for Gift. In addition, I'm definitely not prepared for the status/responsibility of being a SENIOR (don't get me started about the college thing x__X)

Yesh. I hate summer reading. Goodbye Tsugumi (which was actually a great book) and Myths of the Ancient Greeks (which sucked major a**). I also had to write LITERATURE LOGS on them, which was murder.
I just started today. :3 Yay for froshies.
I'm never ready for school.

@Tamaranian: They don't let us cover our books with those sticky ones. Because I guess they don't come off. So we all get murdered if we use them.
@Atticus: Class of Oh Seven, yea! I'm defininitely not ready for that. Especially not the whole college deal. At least I think I know what I'm going to major in, but I'm not really sure.

When do you start school? ~ September fifth. (lots of people seem to be starting then!)
Are you ready for school? ~ 3nodding Yes. And just to make a point, yes again. I gots my brand-new book covers, the cotton kind; a new sketch book, complete with a new india-ink fine-tipped pen; and my funky new notebooks. One is banana paper (Save the environment! scream ) and one has the spiral at the top. Ooooh, novelty! All that's left is clothes shopping and I gotta fix my ancient 'Eureka!' backpack. I think I got it around... first, maybe second grade.
I looooove clothes shopping. I'm not into makeup, or stuff like that, but I love shopping for clothes. Especially shoes. The shirt I'm wearing right now even says 'Shoe Fetish'.
(one day I'll scan or take a picture of it.)
Also, I saw a Bonesy shirt in Hot Topic a couple months ago, and I am desperately hoping they still have it. gonk
{EDIT} I got the shirt!!

It's funny. As of my last post, I was almost positive I was going to major in photography, but as of today I've switched and I think I'll major in religious studies.

School...
I didn't have summer reading, but we got assigned a book the first day. (Which was today.)
...yay senior year.
Oh, and I have a zero hour class, which is a class that starts an hour before regular school...so I have to LEAVE my house at 6:30 am.
What am I doing to myself?
