This should be posted in the E3 thread about Nintendo, however I believe the hype and rumors warrant its own thread.

Apparently (as rumors go) what we saw on Tuesday was a trojan horse. It was a plan by Nintendo in order to plan for an even bigger unvieling on Thursday (tomorrow). Everyone at Gamespot, specifically in the Revolution forum, is going insane trying to figure out the "clues" Nintendo has left behind.

NOTE! This is, in no way, confirmed by Nintendo. However people are placing together the "clues" left behind. We can only hope it's all true.

Nintendo's press confence was more about showing us the last of the Cube and the next year of the Ds. Unlike any other company, Nintendo still was close to the Cube. But Nintendi are know for shocking the world of gaming. And showing the Rev' at the press confence might have doused the shock of the showing of the GBM and all the games on the Cube, GBa and Ds.
