in october i;ll be cosplaying misaki suzuhara from angelic layer. im buying a wig due to the oddity of her hair cut.
but im wondering if her hair style will make the seams/cap of the wig show up, and also how to do the weird things on the side.
it also looks very... something on the top arouns the bangs, do i actually cut i different lengths up there?
right now every site but gaia hates me, so i cant supply any reference pictures until later.

Well, I have to say that this is an unusual hair style. I don't believe that the wig cap will show if there are strands of the wig in the back. Just cut them short, but not too short, and it should be fine. As for the long pieces of hair, you can get wig extensions the same color as the wig and attach them to the wig. The hair on top should also be no problem. You can use hair spray and a little pomade. I have not tried it yet, but with hair spray, I would definitely think it would work.

Can't recall the full hair style but...
For little sticking up parts definitely hair spray and maybe VERY LOW heat if you need to use that. Low heat and careful application will not ruin the wig, no worries. You can check out cosplay.com or katiebair.com for tips on that.
Remember to leave enough hair so that its not too short when you wear the wig. Also, it will help if you use a wig cap underneath the wig that is about the same color (white for white blonde/tan for blonde brown for brown) it will help from showing through as much.
