I don't know if this belongs in the main forum.
I have a question. How does a person have pride about being gay? I don't mean by flaunting it around or anything. This may sound weird, but I dont really have any pride. Maybe because I haven't accepted it yet? Maybe a better question should be how to accept this?
I try to say "This is me, and there's no changing it." but there's something missing, like I cant accept it.

Some people have more shame than pride about who/what they are because it's something that isn't accepted and it's something that they can't change.
In time, you either just accept it or stay ashamed forever. Give yourself some time. 3nodding

I agree with x BlackOut x. It is something that you get over time. Took me a year to really to have that pride. It's something that differs with each person.

Thanks, I'll give myself some time and not force the pride. lol It'll come in time right?
I don't not, sometimes I don't like being like this.

Eh, I don't really have pride that I'm bi, I don't stitch the flag into my clothes or anything.. It's just me, I'm not proud about anything else about me, it's just part of me.... But that's just me.

Personally, I'm not exactly proud of being bi either. I am, however, proud of knowing myself well enough to realize who I really am...
