Toga! Toga!
I really despise how these people take advantage of events like the Holocaust and pre-Civil War slavery to push their point. Are these feti people? Treat them like it, with respect.

Besides, unless slaves and Jews were violating the bodily integrity of their respective opressors, it's hardly the same thing.

Funny how most of them agree that dead baby jokes are in bad taste yet they have no problem with slapping a swastika on the word, "abortion."
I very much agree. Killing concious, innocent people in horrible, sadistic ways and making innocent people who can feel do mercilessly hard work without any sort of pay is a gajillion times worse than killing an unconscious, unfeeling clump of cells that's taking advantage of another's body.

I know I wasn't planned, but I'm not sure about my brother. My mom was 19 when she had me, and 21 when she had my brother. We were born on the same day two years apart. biggrin
Neither of my little sisters were planned as far as I know. My entire family on my mom's side is fertile as hell, and we have a history of stroke (birth control + stroke history = BAD. Before my mom had my brother she was on the pill and her left side went numb. I think one of her cousins had a serious stroke at age 22 because she was taking the pill. sad ) My great-grandmother had 17 kids and one miscarraige (sp?) ...so yeah.

OHSNAP, I'm mostly German AND I've had an abortion. I guess I'm a ******** Nazi plain and simple.

MipsyKitten wasn't planned, but she was wanted.

Mipsy's Awesome Mum!
Well, your Dad and I were engaged, and on my visit to the States I fell pregnant with you. It was never an issue and we really wanted you it's just that you came along sooner than we expected. You were the first grandchild and adored by everyone!!!

I didn't know they weren't married when I was conceived, but I suspected it.

My situation was similar to Mipsy's. I was concieved out of wedlock and was unplanned, but I was wanted. My parents did plan on marrying but I pushed that date a little farther ahead. They were married a few months before I was born.

I was both planned and wanted -- my parents had actually hoped to have me a little sooner; but, I came along eventually. Actually, no one ever expected my parents to have children because they waited three years after they were married before they had me -- I am the eldest.

Oh, and the title makes me want to sing out that Reba McEntire song. mrgreen

I was planned and wanted very much. My mom had a miscarriage when I was little and after that my parents decided one kid was enough so I'm an only child.

I wasn't exactly planned. My mother had previously been on birth control and had two miscarriages. She wasn't broken-hearted about it I don't think since that is a risk with birth control, but that combined with how sick it made her was why she quit the medication. She marked her "peak" days on the calender, but my dad ignored them and guess what happened! My mother was very happy to have me, even though her marriage with my father was a complete disaster. Mom had me because she wanted a child and didn't think she'd get another chance, even though my father was pissed about the pregnancy and never wanted me to be born. (Still isn't happe about it! xd ) She endured three more years of marriage and then divorced. I love my mother very much, and she went through quite a bit to get the baby she wanted. She worked hard to raise me and did a great job, especially considering she did it by herself. She's my hero.

I was definitely planned. My mom was 23 and my dad was 24 (both married). My mom was trying so hard to get pregnant. She just got off of birth control after having been on it since she was 12 (to help her extremely painful cramps then) and it took her six months to get preggers with me. She even went into detail saying that she tried every crazy position and would hold her legs up after so nothing would come out after they were done copulating... God my mother just doesn't know when to stop. >< No more! Stop telling me this! *covers ears* Lalalalalala!!!-I don't want to know the details of your sex life-Lalalalala!!! rofl

Unplanned and the result of a teenage pregnancy. My father ran out, and I don't talk to my mom about him, though she did remark that I had the same tastes as him in a lot of things - apparently my dad liked Dungeons and Dragons, even though I prefer Final Fantasy, that wasn't really around before I was born.

I was unplanned because my mother thought that she couldn't have any more children after my older sister, even though she wanted to have another baby.

And look who's here! xd

But anyways,

there's a difference between unplanned and unwanted.

I was planned and wanted. My mother had me for years after she and my father were married, and she was desperate to have a child — specifically, a girl, but she would have loved a male had she had one first. While she was pregnant with me, though, she was convinced I was a boy. Imagine her joy when she had me. biggrin She waited six years after me to have my little brother, and then she was done.

Oh, and my mom has this say:

Alena's Mother
The only time I was ever anti-abortion was when I was young and foolish. I didn't think about anything but the 'baby'. But once I started working in daycare, I saw all these children who had such terrible home lives ... I didn't want to send them home. That's when all the other factors occurred to me, and I realized that abortion in those situations is the better choice. And if you want to say it's evil, then it's the lesser of the two.
