Does anyone else cry while listening
to Demon Days or am I the only loser?
emo

I dont' cry all the time, but sometimes
when I'm very thoughtful I start to
cry while listening to it. Usually
around FGI, El Manana and
Every Planet We Reach Is Dead.

What's in your head ~

I cry. Don't Get Lost in Heaven/Demon Days just make me lose it. The rest of the disc is fine, though.

If you really pay attention to it and kind of lose yourself in the music, it gets kind of emotional. I know the feeling.

Normally if I listen to the album, I fall asleep halfway, so it's amazing that I've actually heard the whole album. xd

I don't really cry at much. So, I guess it really doesn't make me cry.

Or maybe I'm just insensitive. xd

Demon Days is one of those songs you can get choked up on.

There are very few songs that really make me cry. The first time I heard the short song "Bookstore" by Jon Brion, I burst into emotional tears. (It's SO PRETTY) And "Sweet Song" by Blur sometimes makes me get weepy.

When I saw the Demon Days LIVE DVD,
I was getting teary/choked up like, the
whole time but yeah, when Demon Days,
Latin Simone and Hong Kong came on
I completely lost it. What a nerd.

"To The End" by Blur gets me a little teary.

I think I'm just a cry-baby.

El Mañana is kinda sad, though. I think it's one of those 'downer' songs. I like to listen to my music on shuffle, and I'll be listening to something really happy, then a 'downer song' comes on. There are a few songs that do that to me. Like 'Time After Time' by Cyndi Lauper, or 'Youth Of The Nation' by P.O.D.

xd Wow, I'm lame.

I think I might have cried once when listening to El Manana. Not alot of music makes me cry, I usually cry when I'm frusturated or under alot of pressure.

El Manana makes me cry.

Its just....got so so much emotion in it that you start crying.

Not to mention that I always make music videos in my head to go along with songs.

Other than that, Sweet Song is sad too.

I Love You - Sarah Mclaughlin.

Because it reminds me of when I realized I loved my best online friend (I still do. :3 <3)

"And I forgot....to tell you....I love you. And the night's too....long. And cold....here. Without you. I grieve in my condition. For I cannot find the words to say...I need you so."

Pictures of You - The Cure, Espically the extended dub remix.

Crown of Love - the Arcade Fire, because that song came on shuffle during a terrible fight with my boyfriend, and I thought I hated him for good. But I don't. I was just more angry than I've ever been in my life. And its just about a couple that fights.

"I carved your name....across my eyelids. You pray for rain...I pray for blindness. If you still want me....Please forgive me...The Crown of Love has fallen from me. If you still want me...please forgive...me, because your hands...are not upon me."/"You've gotta be the one, you've gotta be the way, your name is the only word that I can say."

Cars and Telephones - The Arcade Fire, because the line "But ******** it, Ilove you even if, I'm gonna feel like s**t, by the time I get to you (....) And yes, you're in my head....but that doesn't make you here, and I've lost all my friends...but you're the one I miss the most." was sung right when I saw a picture of my boyfriend on my computer. I stared at it.....and I couldn'tstop crying for about an hour.

So, all in all, all 1000 songs on my ipod remind me of my boyfriend.

Fin! mrgreen

El Manana, Don't Get Lost in Heaven, and Demon Days are all pretty emotional, But the only songs that have made me cry are the following ones:

Father's Funeral - Marco Belamtri - Hellboy Soundtrack
This song is just music, but it really helps me let it all out.

Miss You - Blink 182
I really missed someone, and this song helped me get through it.

Arms of the Angels - Sarah McLachlan
It's just plain emotional and sad.

Blower's Daughter - Damien Rice - Closer Soundtrack
A really pretty song about not being able to tell someone that you love them.

That's about it.

Oh, you mean

'In the arms of the angels....far away...from here.'

That song?

Oh god, yes.

When I lived in San Diego, there was a girl who was murdered, and they played that song on the news during like, a rememberance about her.

So it just reminds me of having to watch all that stuff about her on the news.
