DragonStar doesn't awaken, merely snuffles a bit and curls up closer next to her, instinctively, for warmth. He doesn't look like he's going to wake up anytime soon, however, unless given a good hard nudge; that long trek took more out of him than even he would've thought, and he's managed to fall into a deep slumber, despite previous warnings and despite being outdoors. The air is thick and muggy around here; it's certainly humid.

The midafternoon sun is dwindling. The clouds have covered the sun, and the storm is quickly approaching...it looks as dark as dusk, odd colors muted over the colors. In reality, it's only been a few hours, but it looks like it's much later.

Suddenly, all around April, yellow, bulb-like eyes pop into existance all around, in the shadows. There must be hundreds, and they glitter nastily.

A pair of them are quite close, and a lizard slithers out -- about a foot and a half in length, it's covered in green and yellow scales of various shades, and moves through the marsh area up onto the bank with little problems. "Kkssss, ssss, foodmeatz!" it hisses, curving it's flat head back slightly.
