For those who remember me, of course.
I left about 6 months ago.
I just go so tired of everything revolving around sex. Even revolving around the absence of sex. I just had to get away from everything. Everything that made me remember and think about it. I had to escape for awhile.
Forget that I belonged to this guild. This whole account even. Every now and then I had an urge to get on, but I wouldn't let myself (Although my real account remained/remains active.)
Get away from what I knew I was, and I hated it, and didn't want to admit it, and was ashamed, and wanted to erase it. Well, I'm sure we all know that isn't really safely possible.
So here I am, back again. Why?
Last night I found out from oldest and one of my best friends that she has recently lost her virginity. So this action that has the whole word mesmerized has kind of hit me...again.
"Oh, this is real."
So I'm back. I'll be on and off as inconsistent as my sorrows feel as if they should participate in this guild.
To people I have never met before...Hello! I hope I'll get to know you a little bit.

I'm sorry to hear about the loss of virginity. My words can't bring it back, but at least they will confer to you some sense of consolation and sympathy.

I know how you feel. My oldest and best childhood friend never told me when she lost her virginity, but instead announced she was pregnant (a double whammy, since I had no idea she was sexually active at all). It's tough realising you're different from even the people you most closely identified with all your life. As for sex in the media, I've learned to do a good job of avoiding it (I read books instead of watching TV, listen to news on the radio instead of reading newspapers, etc) and I'm happy enough. wink
And I've seen your username before, but I don't really know you, so hi. smile

Eridu - I have also taken into using alternative sources to get my fix of media/entertainment. I've always wanted to start an Anti-TV guild or something. xd
