Purkle, I had no issue with what you said. I know that, being a Hellenic Polytheist, I do tend to use "big words" and often get questions, even from other pagans and recons. People come into topics like this with hackles raised, whether they intend to or not, and we do have to remember to try and keep things light. I know that I was nervous about makig that post in fear of offending monotheists that are in here. We just have to all be adult here and recognize lightness when we intend it; as well as seriousness when it's been intended.

I should probably explain a little about what Hellenic Recon is. This is a religion that worships the Gods/Spirits of Ancient Greece and tries to do this in as authentic a way as possible in modern times. We do not "call quarters" or utilize the pentacle and are not always "nature worshipers." Most of Ancient religion that has survived is the civic Athenian calendar, so that is waht are base our worship on. There are degrees of reconstruction with some relying more on ancient sources than others, but we tend towards polytheism and are very research-oriented.
