That poor, poor red dot. confused
I just get hit with the leftover rain, that causes flooding up here. >.>

I just walked back from my closest class in some leftover rain, and I came into the dorms wetter than I left the shower! stressed

Well, we get out fair share of hurricans in Louisiana, but we haven't had anything too extreme since Andrew in 1992. Oh yeah, we dealt with Hurricane Ivan, but that only seemed to affect the areas around New Orleans. We did get the so-called remanence of Ivan, but that was only heavy showers, nothing too serious.
But, is does suck that Florida has been hit by four Hurricanes, and it sucks even more because the evacuee's come through Louisiana and jam our highways and interstates. sweatdrop Frances, Charley, Ivan and Jeanne, for anyone who didn't know the four.

Yah, my neighborhood is trashed thanks to that hurricane. Trees everywhere and lines down. We just got power back after three days.
