I finally got around to reading the wonderful trilogy!

They were amazing... I am horrid at ratings, so I will give them to you from the lovely Amazon.

xd

For Uglies:
L.Becker
"I have not read other novels by the author, but I will be after reading this one. This was an incredibly well written book. The setting was well created and the characters were believable and well developed. There are no great leaps of faith that one has to make with some science fiction attempts. The story line makes sense. You're wondering how could this all work, and just about when you get to the point were you have to have some type of explanation or you're going to get frustrated, the author gives it to you. And I liked the explanations and the logic behind how the world got to this point. "

Don't eat me, guys. I write poetry, not reviews.

I haven't read this triology yet but I have read his Midnighters triology and it just blew my mind. Uglies is now on my to read list.

I wish I could have read it, but I didn't have money around when the school book fair came...

I have already read Uglies and Pretties, and I'm now waiting for Specials to come to me through inter-library loan. I really enjoyed these books so far! I thought book one was a little better than book two. The characters are very likeable/well developed, and the world that the author has created is very imaginative and believable. I especially liked the idea of hoverboarding! I can't wait to read the conclusion of this series!

I've read Uglies, and I loved it! My friend is going to let me borrow Pretties soon, and then i'm going to get specials somehow.

Oh my gosh, I love the Uglies/Pretties/Specials books. I am so glad that I picked it up at Boarders one day because I thought the cover was cool. xd

I have since read all of Scott Westerfeld's other books, he is truly an amazing writer.

I don't know about Uglies, but I think I saw Pretties in my library. Will it destroy/spoil anything if I read it first, before Uglies, etc.?

Yes, you wouldn't understand anything that's going on and it would spoil a few things.

I own the first two and am currently borrowing Specials from one of my friends. I personally cannot decide which of the first two is my favorite. However, I really liked Pretties. I thought it had more going on in it.

I read Peeps and thought it kicked some serious @$$ so now I'm trying to get my own copy of it. I have not yet read So Yesterday(?) by him. It just didn't seem all that interesting.

I've read Uglies and am reading Pretties. The concept of pretties reminds me of provs from The Last Book In The Universe by W. Rodman Philbrick.
