Tips on how to get attention to your request thread
1. Give it a descriptive, yet creative title.
'DRAW MY AVI PLZ' is neither very attractive or memorable.
2. Make your thread pretty and useful.
Add descriptions, and reference pictures if you have any. In my experience artists are more likely to want to spend the time on drawing for you if it looks like you give a damn. smile
3. Check back regularly.
There is nothing worse for an artist (well, maybe except art theft) than to spend a long time drawing for someone, and then they never even notice it. This subforum may be a bit slow, but you only need a second to look through for any new posts.
4. Talk to people.
Go to the main guild forum and ask the artists politely if they can draw you and link back here. It probably helps if you hang out and make friends too, artists are more likely to draw for people they like. Also, many of them will appreciate a proper post with description and references, and you don't have to type up the same story every time. 3nodding
