Not really, but I figured that would get everyone's attention. Today will be my last day on Gaia for a while. For those of you who don't know, Greer and Pym are breaking the lease on the apartment we share next month, so I need to move. My friends have agreed to help me, so I'm leaving Tennessee for Kansas tomorrow afternoon. The trip back shouldn't take more than 20 hours. I don't know exactly how my living situation is going to be, but I don't think I'll be offline that long. I should be back by Friday. If not, thank you for the wonderful experience I've had in this guild.
<Thank you.> <See you again!>

I made it home! Yay for me! I got here about nine hours ago. A summary of the trip:
Wednesday May 18: Bart arrives at our apartment during the afternoon. Tired from his long trip, he decides thatwe'll head back to Kansas on Friday. We hang out for bit until Pym getsoff work, and we go eat dinner. We watch Smallville and the Batman Begins trailer. Batman as a ninja I can accept, but Liam Neelson as his master is down right peculiar. Afterwards, I play Dragon Quest 5 on Pym's computer till the wee hours of the morning.
Thursday May 19: I get up and pack my things. Nobody wants to do anything in particular, so we end up watching a lot of Bravo. Greer was on a West Wing kick this week. I finish the book I had been reading for the past three weeks, and return it. I say my goodbyes to my FFXI linkshell, and deactivate all the characters on my account.
Friday May 20: We get up early to leave, but Pym wants to have breakfast before Bart and I leave town. We eat at IHOP and go back to load up. It turns out I have more stuff than I thought. I have to repack some things to get it to all fit. We finally leave and get on the highway. Bart's car is barely accelerating. We stop to get the sparkplugs changed 25 miles out of Nashvillle, but It's too late in the day to find anyone decent. We limp back to Pym's place and stay the night.
Saturday May 21: We leave again, searching for a mechanic to do the job. Sears won't do it, Firestone will, but at 3:00 in the afternoon. We end up in Rutherford County, and find a garage will to change the sparkplugs in an hour. It finally gets done and we leave for Kansas. I sleep until we're in Kentucky. Happy to be making progress but unimpressed with the Bluegrass State, I go back to sleep. I wake up again in Illinois. We detour through Metropolis and look at the giant Superman statue. I see a stand-up of Pre-Crisis Supergirl and think of Linda. I wonder if she's ever been here. We continue on and I find Golconda (Vampire: The Masquerade players will get it) We see another Nashville. I am dismayed. We get to Missouri and Bart turns the radio on to hear the Kansas City/St. Louis game. St. Louis wins 6-5. Bart is dismayed now. I begin to think Missouri has grown, as it takes us six hours to cross the state. They were six very long hours. Finally we're in Kansas. Three more hours to Wichita, but the trip has been dragging for so long, I'm not enthusiastic. Three hours later, I'm in Wichita. We go south to my friend Mike's place and unload at 2:00 in the morning. Mike gives me a quick tour and I crash on the couch. I thank Bart for everything and try to sleep.

Some advertising for Bart: Wildcat's LairA site for people who don't have regular access to comic book shop, or aren't satisfied with the ones in their area. Plus he puts up his artwork from time to time.
