My friend made a comic that was a total RENT parody. It's not finished, and it's never going to be, but it's called "SPENT", and the characters are me, her, a few people I know, a few people she knows (that I don't know), and it's chock full of some inside jokes... some of which I don't even understand. sweatdrop But she parodies like, all the songs too.

And see, it's all sort of more or less revolving around this joke about going to a local ice cream shop when it reopened for the summer, "Fritz's", and somehow we were talking about "measuring your life in scoops of ice cream" and "toppings of love". Don't ask, I can't even explain it.

So the whole thing is ice cream related. For example, some of the characters suffer from AIDS, or "Acquired Icecream Defeciency Syndrome".

To give you an idea of how ridiculous this ends up getting, here's some of the lyrics:

As opposed to "How we gonna' pay, how we gonna' pay... last year's rent?"
it is, "Damn this is so gay, damn this is so gay... our freezer is spent!"
(And that means melted ice cream. You don't want that now, do you?)

and of course there's songs like, "Scoop My Icecream" and "The Mango Icecream"... I don't know. Silly stuff.
